Knoxville, TN - anyone?

I'll be in Knoxville this coming weekend so DD can attend a skating workshop. I'm not sure how much of the time I'll be hanging around the rink, but my guess I'll have Saturday to explore the town. Does anyone know any tidbits about Knoxville that they can pass along to me?

We drive through there all the time on our way to Ky from NC (and back) but never stop. Seems like a great place.

My sister used to live in Knoxville. We would go and stay with her a couple of times a year. We loved it & I think that advert is spot on....it feels like a small town in the Big City.

We loved going downtown and walking around. Usually there was something going on.
