Hi everyone. My sister-in-law is pregnant with a girl and is struggling to pick a middle name. They have sort of picked a first name, Amily, pronounced like Emily with an A. Their other children are Arlia Belle, Logan Wayne and Ella Jayde. Any suggestions so I can pass them along would be great!
Amily Adele Amily Raine (my best friend's DIL just had a baby a month ago - her middle name is Raine)
Amily Brooke - Brooke is my Aspen's middle name. Amily Alyse - Alyse instead of Elise pronounced Ahh-lease is my Megan's middle name. I always said if I had girl twins I would have named them Hope and Faith because it would have taken alot of hope and faith to raise twins. Amily Hope Amily Faith Amily Paige - I like page because I'm a scrapbooker, but hubby wouldn't go for it with our girls.
My friend's daughter is Amelie (same pronunciation, different spelling) Paige. I see someone suggested it. Lovely name!
Amily Grace Amily Rae Amily Margaret Amily Margaux (another French middle name, like Belle) Amily Nicole Amily Bette Amily Briton Amily Noelle Amily True Amily Rose Amily Cadence
Very often I hear, "Oh Lynn is my middle name." Probably not used so much any more by new parents though.
Wowsers! Thank you all for your suggestions!!! This will either overwhelm her and her brain will fall out, OR (hopefully) the perfect name jump out at her. I think she will go for a one syllable name, because that seems to be her trend. My sister liked this spelling but she thought people would get confused how to say it (not exactly sure why, it seems very straightforward to me, lol) but also hubby/daddy just didn't like it spelled like that.
Well, I also was going to say Amily Paige before I read all the posts and I see two others have also said Paige, so I guess that is pretty popular. I just love the way it sounds together. Some great suggestions here!!
I hv a niece whose middle name is Paige (i think it was more common here about 10 yrs back) & one whose middle is Eve. I think i was confused about the spelling /pronunciation initially.there are a fair few one syllable kids in DDs class Ava, Aya, Isla, Mia (both said as mee_ah & my_ah) i think Aussie's are so used to shortening everything a one syllable name is the only guarantee you kid gets called their whole name
