my husband is going to be at a conference downtown, and we are staying at hotel circle. I would love to go to a park, beach, pool, museum, coffee shop? and meet up with any of ya'll in the area.
We get in the 9th late, but the 10th thru the 12th, the days are free to play!?
I am the extrovert, and if you are introverted, I will carry the conversation, I promise and will only hug you once really long! lol

I'm nowhere near there, but my daughter says the zoo there is pretty awesome. And whale watching, and seals at LaJolla.

My hubby is actually a SD native, and we go most every year. This year, we are relaxing at the beach, going to lojolla is our top. I just love meeting Lily Pad peeps.

Dang it! I think that's when I have to head to Utah. Otherwise, I would make a trip for my munchkin to go to the zoo, with daddy of course! :giggle

I so want to go!!! To see the area and meet you! No trips for me though... if anyone comes east, NJ/NY let me know! (I told Renne we must meet, we are close in proximity!)

Anne, I hope it's wonderful and you find peeps to meet up with! Fun!!!

I wish I could. San Diego is where I grew up. I'm a third generation native of San Diego. My mom's mom's parents moved there from Nebraska in the 1920s and within a few years my grandmother was born. My parents still live in the house where I grew up and my mom is still living within the same 15 miles where she grew up. Amazing, that is, nowadays, right?

Anyway, my husband and I decided to move out here to Virginia in 2000 after being discouraged by house-shopping in the L.A. area, and because he had a job-offer. I insisted we would return every year to visit, but as our family and inflation grew, it has become too expensive. We haven't visited since March 2013. I've been thinking I should go with just one of my kids. Then we can stay in my parents' little house instead of a hotel, in addition to having lower travel and food expense.

Have a good trip Anne!

I'm in for a nice weather NJ/NY area meet up - or somewhere close-ish! Gotta get past this winter yuck though!

Anne, I think I could give you a go for your money about the extroversion. You have the advantage of youth though! LOL I have been looking for cheap SoCal air fares to try and get out to see my son before he moves from Newport Beach to ...somewhere. If I can make July I would probably stay on Coronado but am 'fluent' with CA driving.

We always make Coronado Beach a priority cause jelly fish are fun to see..bhahha..would love to extrovert together!

I would LOVE to go to San Diego AND meet you in person Anne! Someday I hope to do both! I hope you have a fun meet up! :) I know you will, but be sure to take pictures and share! :)

I could probably try and make it.. it is on my list of places to go.. and I am dying to see the zoo there.. so yes.. if the non-rev gods allow.. I will fly there and hang with you!

Several years ago San Diego is where I met up with my pals from Digital Scrapbook Place in real life! (My nephew and his family were vacationing out there, so I decided I'd fly out and hang with them a few days and hang with my digi-friends ... it was so much fun!)

We took a vaca to San Diego for a month, we stayed at Mission Beach! We are planning our next trip but we're going in August...... :(
