Fast Five |Pad Patter 1.7.2017

1. Can you Roller Skate? Absolutely! Quad skates only, though. I even skated in a movie (background). 70's, of course!
2. Can you Ice Skate? I'm learning, but can't find the time to get to the rink!
3. Can you Skateboard? Um, no.
4. Can you Snowboard? See #3.
5. Can you Ski? A little, for both XC and downhill.

1. Can you Roller Skate? Oh, yes! I grew up roller skating for hours and hours and hours on our carport (it was a pretty big carport). I even taught myself some jumps and spins.

2. Can you Ice Skate? Yup! I took lessons and actually tested through several ISI levels!

3. Can you Skateboard? I have never tried it, but really want to!

4. Can you Snowboard? Yes! I'm much better at snowboarding than skiing. It took some getting used to, and then I figured out that I ride goofy (left foot forward).

5. Can you Ski? Yes, but not well. The edges feel exactly backwards from figure skating for me, and I get all kinds of confused. I'm fine on an a downhill (though last time I did a downhill I ended up with a teeny concussion), just don't ask me to ski in a straight line on flat ground.

I say, "yes, but no more" because I am 77 years young and no way will I put on roller skates or ice skates any more!!! Back in the '50s as a teenager, I lived in roller skates and ice skates!!! My favorite two past times!!! I use to play around with my son's skateboard in the '70s and really had fun with it!

2. huh?! you're at the rink all the time, at like times of the day one should be sleeping if i remember rightly! Charlotte doesn't get it from you then?

Nope to the rest- and no i can't surf or waterski either

5. Can you Ski? Snow ski - did it a few times ... water ski? We used to have a boat when my parents had a waterfront home - LOVED it!!

Nope! ha! The main problem is timing. When they have public skate scheduled is when I'm either working at the rink, picking the girl up from school to bring her to the rink, or it's too late in the day and I'm too pooped to skate. I'm going to have to figure out how to get there, though.

I always loved going to the roller skating rink . . . but I just watch now! It was so much fun, with the air flying through your hair and zipping along!

4. Can you Snowboard? Never tried it.
5. Can you Ski? Water skiing - I tried once a long time ago - it was hard. Snow skiing - I never tried it.
 
1. Can you Roller Skate? Yes and I love it! I went on Dec 20th in fact with a school field trip. I still got it!
2. Can you Ice Skate? Yes and I love this too! :)
3. Can you Skateboard? I used to skateboard as a kid.
4. Can you Snowboard? Never tried, don't like the thought of both feet strapped in
5. Can you Ski? Yep! Snow and water! Although last summer I only got up on water skiis for a few seconds before I bit it and was too tired to go again. Lol!

3. Can you Skateboard? I can go maybe a block....
4. Can you Snowboard? Haven't tried.
5. Can you Ski? I have... and once I realized there were no brakes, I promptly took them off and walked down the mountain. I can waterski, and my brakes for that is to just let go. I like water. I'm not a huge fan of snow. :giggle

5. Can you Ski? No, I can count how many times I've been skiing on one hand. I'm not good at it and I don't like it.
 
This is quick easy answer for me LOL

1. Can you Roller Skate? No, would end up on floor
2. Can you Ice Skate? No, I look like bambi on ice
3. Can you Skateboard? No, only if I want it to end with a trip to hospital
4. Can you Snowboard? No, probably break my neck and hate the cold
5. Can you Ski? Again no, be bambi on ski's and end up in broken bones
