are you an extravagant gift wrapper or a gift bag-ger?
Every year i pin a dozen cute gift wrap ideas with good intentions and then leave it til the last week and end up in a frenzy of cheap paper and tangles of tape. I also end up printing free printable tags at the last minute too (i post-it note stuff as i go so i know who's is who's - and Dawn has some nice tags on her blog right now too - see her post in Announcements;) )

1 son's favorite color is blue, the other's is red. So, I buy red wrapping paper & blue wrapping paper. Each boy opens his color. Last year I labeled them from ridiculous elf sounding names. Whenever they ask about Santa, I mention that I've known Santa to have a lot of helpers all over the world. Covering my butt, for when the truth eventually comes out.
All the teacher's get the same gift bag, so I can quickly identify those. My mom always wants a basket, so I do that. Last year I made all the coworkers rice krispies treats, I found Christmas buckets at the Dollar Tree & again color coded them according to how many I'd packed inside. Apparently I like color coding things.

I LOVE wrapping presents, and I must say, I am pretty darn good at it too. When I was a teenager, my mum would let me wrap all the presents (except my own). It's was a win-win for her, lol! I would do all the ribbons and tags and they would look gorgeous!! Nowadays I pretty much only use wrapping paper, I don't have the time to do it all anymore. I miss it a LOT!

I used to spend more time with ribbons and bows but have gotten lazy about it these last couple of years and use a lot of gift bags. One year I bought kraft paper, stamped patterns on it and used a glue gun to seal edges rather than tape and made bows.

I dislike wrapping presents. Luckily, one of my daughters loves it and begs to wrap for me. Often, I just wrap and put on a sticky bow (sometimes I don't even bother with the bow). At Christmas, I usually use 3 different wrapping papers, one for each of my kids.

Despite disliking it however, I'm pretty good at it. My mom worked in a department store gift-wrap department for about a decade in the 80's-90's and I learned from her.

We're not big wrappers here... I do like good paper to wrap with (Hallmark with the guides on the back), but no bows and we have been known to write names directly on the paper with a Sharpie :-/ Trying to do better this year since we're not traveling before Christmas, but we'll see!

I like wrapping if I am not rushed doing it. When I was a teenager, I did a lot of the wrapping for my mom, even my own gifts and never once peeked haha. A couple of years ago, I started wrapping the majority of my gifts all in plain craft paper and then doing big colorful and/or sparkly ribbons on them. I love how they look under the tree. I do a few others in reds and plaids. I'm not great at doing fancy tags for just us here at home and usually just write the name on the back. I will do them for co-worker gifts and for others.
I have a friend who also does her gifts in craft paper, but instead of doing bows, she and her children draw pictures and color on their gifts. They turn out so pretty! And it's a neat little tradition they have.

I like to wrap but mostly use bags nowadays. When the kids were here, I had a special room set up with papers and bows, etc. set out to wrap as I go. Now they just want gift cards or money.

This is me... I do wrap presents for my boys... just so they have some to unwrap. :giggle OH... Santa doesn't wrap presents in this house... his all come unwrapped so he can see what he is giving, and not have any mix ups!

I wish Santa would bring the gifts unwrapped at our house or atleast wrap them himself... that would be a lot easier for me. :groan

I've never really enjoyed wrapping gifts, but do think they look pretty under the tree. I've pinned things in the past, but only wrapped a few gifts really fancy. Mostly ones for my friends or my hubby's co-workers. For the family, I usually pick a different wrapping paper for each person and slap on a bow.

I love pretty packages, but hate wrapping. LOL. I buy coordinating wrapping paper that I love every year (I really dislike clashing papers), but then regret having to wrap. We also have pet issues, so I don't like to wrap ahead of time and leave them under the tree because the dog may just pee on them. Most of our Christmas Eve evenings are spent doing wrapping, which really stinks. I need to be better about it.

I'm a terrible present wrapper & always have been. I don't even do gift tags; I just wrap the kids' presents in different paper for Christmas morning.

I don't like wrapping at all and I'm not very good at it. I will wrap but usually forget the ribbon and bows. Fortunately my daughter is coming home this week and she will wrap them for me!

i can imagine that would look like one of the fab craft rooms i see on pinterest that i could only dream about - and wrapping/presenting gift cards makes me a bit crazy - i end up putting them in a decent sized box with bubble wrap and wrapping that so it looks more visually substantial!

oh I had forgotten about that. We have a week and a half left of school, but I still need to finish shopping.... ugh! I'm getting my butt kicked this year. Too many doctors visits and not enough time or energy to do it all.
