I hope it's o.k. that I'm posting this here. This is one of my best friends. Her son is missing! I have known this boy since he was 4 years old, and we are worried sick. He is 15, will be 16 a month from tomorrow. He is missing from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and his name is Wade. The reason it says his mom is in Alaska, is because she is there visiting her sick mom. Wade stayed in PA with his sister, stepbrother and stepdad. If you live in the US, please consider sharing this on your FB. Thank you.

Oh how difficult and then to be so far away too. Will keep them in prayer. Please keep us updated.

So very scary! Hope he is found safe and sound!

OMG ... I hope all is OK. That is horrible that she is so far away. Please keep us posted ... is there an Amber alert out yet for Wade?

Oh my! The bright side to this is that with Facebook and sharing things like this is dramatically increases the number of eyes looking for him and increases his chances of being found soon! Prayers for his safe return going up!

I was just searching for her original post on Facebook to share and she just posted that "it's been confirmed Wade is at school"

This is so scary! Keep us posted. I hope what Karen found is true.

Thank you everyone. YES, he was found and he did show up for school. Apparently, what happened was he was mad at his stepfather for taking his phone away. He decided to go to a friend's house, but it was a friend that neither parent knew he had. They had checked with his other friends, but no one mentioned this kid or anything. Needless to say, they are happy he is o.k., but he is in big big trouble!
