Colors and Borders twisted together!
With pure COLOR!

I adore playing with rips, tears and ephemera.

Layers and layers are fun for art journaling.
So your borders are ONE part,
the other is to go with a main color!

You can of course add some other colors, but your page
should be obvious
with the color you used.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo obvious, that somewhere on the page must be the word of your color!
Make it big or small, but some where, put it in there!

oh this could be a moody one... feeling blue, in the pink, foggy gray... fun.
 
I think for monthly challenges (the big ones in the monthly) it is 75%, but the gallery is 50% as I actually cut and copied from the gallery. I think with AJing especially, it is nice to have a bit of a wiggle room..although now that dear Tangie and Rebecca are here, I am in heaven of overload of stash. my main problem is those precious designers that retire...oh my heart aches...so I need that percent! tee hee

It depends on the challenge. It is beginning to become a jumble of numbers as now the designers have different percentages of their products per challenge. I'm glad we are staying in the gallery rules and not a higher percentage.
 
I will be honest...I want to see pages created...but.........the Lily Pad pays the bills to keep this marvelous place open, so I only search in my TLP folder when creating. I have on occasion, delved into a jpg or such from a find in a google search...lol
 
Yep, I pretty much only use TLP. The only other art journaling I have is the retired from here sisters. I was swimming in numbers last week and redoing layouts because designers didn't list %'s on their rules. I'm ready for some good old fashioned art journaling. TLP of course. I have some new art dolls to play with!

Ok, thanks for the PLAY Anne - I still don't have very much of my stash reloaded after my computer crashed, so I just played with some recent things I do have on here - not quite as fun, but still a break from "life".
