a rare event:
My house is quiet except for my a/c running, and the click of my keyboard...
what sound are you hearing right now??
 
Hold on Loosely by 38 Special, playing on Pandora (my "Kansas" station, so it plays all classic rock). I've been enjoying scrapping with this station this year.
 
Turned TV on during the scrap (helps keep time). Hubby's home now so my peace and quiet is over too (before the TV). Enjoy...
 
I hear the fan above me and the ringing in my ears. Darn tinnitus. But I'm not hearing the baby monitor cuz DH took that tonight. (We sleep in separate rooms. He snores and I'm a light sleeper.)

We played the game Spontuneous tonight and now I've got "Hold on Loosely" stuck in my head! "Loosely" would be a good word for that game so I hope I remember it for tomorrow night!

My Spotify "Low Key Weekend Playlist" is all I can hear right now .... chilling out!
 
Dryer, oscillating fan, ceiling fan, keyboard clicks from my keyboard, hubby's and son's (we're ALL sucked into our computer worlds right now), enjoying a summer evening, staying up way too late. LOL
 
12:30 a.m. here and only hearing the clicking of the computer keys that's it! OOPS, wait, the frig motor just kicked in so I can now hear that. Wanted to stay up and usher in my 77th birthday, which I have done so now it is off to bed with this old lady!!!!!
 
It is funny that you posted this because I was just wincing over the noise in here. It is like 85 degrees in here, so my hubby has the fan/AC on. He's sitting right next to it, so he has the television BLARING... like I can probably hear it outside.
 
It's 3 in the afternoon here and all I hear is rain (and now a siren way off) - the rain is so lovely, it's been steady now for a day and a bit.
 
I hear "A Chef's Life" and the fan. I'm resisting turning on the a/c as long as I can!

I love that sound!! I'm jealous! I can hear traffic in the distance and birds singing, and the voices in my head telling me to get up, cos it's 9.30am and I'm still in bed reading...
 
Birds chirping and gentle rain falling... Everyone else is still sleeping and it is so peaceful and wonderful after a hectic Saturday!
