Today is a day to smile and laugh....

Anne, you are a cheery soul :)

I don't know anything about cinco de mayo, I'm guessing it means 5th of May (no flies on me :giggle ). You girls can enlighten me when we play our first iNSD game later today xx
if I remember correctly, Cinco de Mayo (yes, 5th of May) is a celebration in Mexico (It might be their independence day, similar to 4th of July in the States). That is all I know.

Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day (which is actually Sept. 16th), but is instead the celebration of the Battle of Puebla when Gen. Ignacio Zaragoza led a poorly armed group of mestizos and zapotecs to victory against the French (Napoleon III’s forces)
Cinco de Mayo is not a national Mexican holiday. It is mostly celebrated in Puebla, where the battle took place.
Cinco de Mayo is not a big deal in Mexico – in fact, it has become a bigger deal in the United States because companies realized they could sell more products in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.
