Non-fiction or Classics for Book Club?

I will read whatever gets nominated for the month. I'm a bit in line with @Tree City in that most classics are quite prejudiced to their times. I'm not generally a big fan of non-fiction, but I look at the book club as expanding my horizons....
I also always feel like I have to finish a book even if I don't like it much.

Also, I actually kind of liked Wuthering Heights.. so there. :p

Did you think it was depressing ... with very little in the way of redemption in the end? (that's why I didn't like it)

i'm not much for classics either, i guess the typical settings dont really do much for me but i'll go on a case by case basis -same for historical fiction mostly

Honestly, I don't remember.. But I remember that I enjoyed it while all of my friends hated it, lol.. Guess I'll have to go back and read it again.. ;)
