There was a chat room at SO, but the members liked doing the MISs in the forum threads so that's what Liz had us do. The chat room was used for live events like Bingo and Pictionary.

Tracy (tpbuffy) posted the rules in post #103, but she's updating the very first post of this thread so you can read them there also.
 
okay, so I can take the instructions and get 'er done later tonight, then don't qualify for drawing, but can still play along, got it...use one of Liz' awesome templates and enjoy (I do love her templates btw) Sounds awesome thank you!!!
 
The different between part one and part two is time and prize. If you get done in 75 minutes you qualify for the drawing and get the free template; if you do not get done with your layout until 24 hours you do not qualify for the drawing but still get the free template. For both parts you are only creating one layout and there are only one set of instructions.

My little boy is being entertained by his sister (and the PS4 controller, lol), so I am getting started!

Mine are hanging out, building Legos and watching Scooby Doo. Daddy's downstairs watching football. I'm working on my layout using the free template that will post on Liz's blog on Tuesday, so you all will get a little sneak peek!
 
Seems like a live event when people are chatting to each other in real time, but if that's how people like it, it's all good. My computer is in a slow phase but I'll chug along best I can.

I think I posted in time, but I don't see my name- catschwartz. I don't think it will matter though, I am here, but definitely won't be done for the first time, even with the twist :)

Special Notice: Because the template is your choice, the only way I will know if you participated is if you link your layout in this thread or within the Facebook Album. To qualify, post your layout to the gallery or hosting site of your choice* and then paste the image and link here by 8:15 pm ET tonight to qualify for the drawing and by 7:00 pm ET tomorrow (03 JAN 2016) to qualify for the free template.

Instructions

You can use any Scrapping with Liz's Template of your choice. You can make your layout yours and design as you like, as long as, you follow the instructions below. Don't forget to shadow and date. The sample layout is created using the instructions below and serves as an excellent example.

1. Have at least one star.
2. Have at least two photos.
3. Have at least three shades of blue.
4. Have at least four pattern papers.
5. Have at least five words of journaling (excluding titles and dates).

The Twist

If you participated in the Twist you have an extra 10 minutes to complete your layout (8:25 pm ET part one; 7:10 pm ET part two).

*Posting Notice: To upload your layout into the TLP gallery it must contain 50% products from current TLP designers.
 
Quick Question -- Do the kits we use have to be active LilyPad Kits? I'm not sure what I have that's retired and what's not!

No, freebies and retired is fine as long as the designers themselves still sell here. (for TLP gallery reqs) It's only for MOC where they need to be active :)
 
Any questions? Wondering if the mostly silence is a good or bad thing - I used to having a notice at the bottom that tells me who is the thread.

No you are not limited to active kits for the challenge; if you do decide to post in the TLP gallery please follow the gallery rules.
 
I'm having technical hiccups so haven't gotten to the actual scrapping part yet but I think I get the rules ok
 
Well, peeps. I am here. LOL. I figured this was a good way to introduce myself to a gaggle of SO folks at the same time. Yes, I will be scrapping b/c.. Liz templates... hello? BUT...

I'm Jen! I've been around here for a while and it's my home within my home. It's great to get to know you. And b/c I have your attention... I'm the mom of four, wife of one. I work outside the home part-time. My DH is a pastor and 2 of my kids are teenaged boys... so we pray a LOT :giggle
I love the color pink, but only if it's BRIGHT, although I wear mostly black. I'm a natural redhead who is sadly going gray despite my best efforts at L'oreal.

And I'm waving HI to all of YOU! :bk
