Star Wars VII > Star Wars I-VI | Discuss!

Can we talk about some spoilers now???

Like, does everyone know that apparently Daniel Craig had a cameo??? I have to watch it again just to see if I recognize the voice!

We just came from seeing it, I really loved it, but not gonna tell you what Im living with my 11y son right now, you guys wont imagine LOL

@scrapsandsass that would make me soooo mad! I told my kids as soon as we were getting up to leave to zip their lips out in the theatre just because of that!! They were bursting when we got to the car, but no way were my kids going to spoil it for others!!

I thought it was basically the same story as the first ones, and laughed at whiny cry lo ren. (Should I go hide now?)

That said.... i was fully drawn in to the story, which is what I need from a movie to say it's good. :) I love BB8.

I think it had to be similar because it's always about the dark and light side. The story is always going to be Good vs. Evil and how humans/people always fall into the same habits/mistakes. People always fall in love. People always fight because of fear/greed...etc. If it was too different it wouldn't have worked. IMO :)

Goodness! If we start talking about similar story lines, almost every story type can be brought down to the same one line plot! :whistle:P

For me, it's the execution of the story that makes a movie. And I liked this one.

Just got home from the movie!! My son and I went to the 10:40pm showing on Xmas day. Our movie theatre down the street recently "upgraded" to those recliner seats and the seating is reserved. We picked up tickets this afternoon and we got 2 of the last 4 seats in the latest movie. We were in the front row. I think I need to go back and watch it in a few weeks when I can sit in the back and not move my head side to side to see everything. Front row action movie in 3D was tough being that close. I think I'll watch the old movies first and then go see this one again. I think I'm kind of glad I didn't do the whole marathon first. It was kind of like catching up with old friends. I loved it.
