*CLOSED* TLP Artist Trading Card Swap 007 (October)

Is there such a thing as too simple for an ATC? I got an idea this afternoon and just finished working on it in PS. I keep trying to add stuff to it, but in the end, I keep coming back to my simple original design.... BUT it is really simple ("clean" to put a positive spin on it... lol!).

We welcome all kinds! And when you said you were joining, my first impression of what you would send was exactly that- "clean" / simple. The bottom line is that you are happy with your ATC and feel a sense of joy sharing it with us! :)
 
Yes. What Kristina said! If you are happy and it reflects you, the it will be perfect. There is no right or wrong :)

Thanks Kristina! It makes me happy! It was one of those rare occasions where things worked out as well on "paper" as it did in my head. :-) Can't wait to share it!
 
I've been in slow motion this month. This week has two events and also physical therapy. I would know better next week after those are over. So if another person is needed to make 18 I'll sign up if I can sign up late. Just not my week. Although I'm getting some things done! It's an improvement.

Carrie, I'm sorry you have had a rough week. I completely understand although you know how much I love your cards. (you got a shout out in my Periscope today) But, if you don't think you can swing it this month, don't stress about it. We'll be here next month as well. As the week progresses, if you think you'll be able to do something by the deadline, just let me know before Saturday.

Hugs and prayers for you. Feel better and I'm glad things are starting to look up.
 
OK ... I'm in again. I was able to do a mock up late last night. So I know I can commit to getting it out the door on time. YAY! I just have to get some new print cartridges on my errand run today. So I'll snail mine to you Jen.

Tracie mine was very clean and simple. This 2nd one from me is a bit more messy and layered. (still organized though) ... has to be organized!

Your video was very inspirational!! I saw a huge range of styles. I have no clue what I'm going to do but you know what? I'm going to give it a try!!!! I will go pay in the store. I'm IN!!!!

I missed the Periscope, but watched the YouTube--what a great idea to show how fun ATC swap is--great job, Jenn! I love pumpkins and fall so much I'm having a hard time narrowing something down!!!!!!!
 
Okay so I am uploading mine now to Staples. 2 pages right? Im so excited!! Yeah!!!! I want to do it again next month when I am not so confused by the process. Mine will be better then. I didnt want to stress so much over it that i didnt enjoy it. Next month I want to do more on the back of the card. I cannot wait to get mine!!!!!!!!!! :woot:happydance2:fairydance:happy:grouphug:moo
 
OK, guys! We are closed for October! You will all need to send me 17 cards. 18 would be awesome (and easy to print, right?). I like having an extra or 2 in case any get lost in the mail ;).

I can't wait to hear from you all and see what you create. Please have them in the mail or to Staples by the Deadline (WED, OCT 28) so I can turn them around quickly.
