Everybody is returned at work, at school and I begin a Very busy period. My schedule has changed and it's difficult to do all the things I need to do : my work, the house, the children, scrap, come here...
I hope to find a good organization to do all these things but it's not easy.

And you ? How do you do when you have a busy period ?

We've been in a busy period the past month. I'm hopeful that things are going to calm down now that school has started (yesterday for Kennedy), and school is over for me (finally). Cleaning is usually always last on the list, but I'm in the middle of a bunch of cleaning and organizing at the moment. We're trying to menu plan and organize the pantry/freezer so we know what is available. We also cleared one shelf and another little section to pre-bag things for school lunch items so it isn't a rush in the morning. We've set up a weeknight schedule so we can be sure to get things done and get the little man into bed at a reasonable time. I'm not sure how it will all work out, but we're going to try our best. My daughter's work schedule is all-over-the-place at the moment, and she has Thursdays and Fridays off. It makes life more complicated, but we're trying to figure it out. I'm scheduling out certain days to work on certain projects and then do cleaning and laundry around those.

It is hard to always feel busy and pressed for time. I don't remember it being like this when my daughter was in school and I worked full time. LOL.

I think for us the busiest is summer, and then again December/January/February when is summer in South America-
Both periods are busy mainly because we live in London and the WHOLE family wants to come visit.

I love it when very direct family or their children come over, but I have to say this year has been a bit of a constant worry to me, as I had to stop my carer as I didn't have the money the government is asking me to pay.....I'm still to get organized to get an appeal on, my head just hasn't been in the right place.

Right now I'm trying to get my finances organized and making a huge effort to get Sarita to go back to her Performing Arts studies as she can't do Uni auditions because of waiting for the operation, which we STILL didn't get the surgeon's appointment.
She saw a team who explained she needs a different team....long story.
This is going to cost us a bit of money as now she is an adult and pays for medication and not sure about what goes on the hsopiutal stay :(

I haven't been well the past few days, with something I think is my wisdom teeth and I may need an operation (which they wanted me to have a couple of years ago and I got of doing it, as I wasn't in pain at all) but now I had to take sleeping pills for the past two nights, as a matter of fact I slept all day yesterday.....

but I know we will get there :)

I'm in the same boat Gaelle. I need a bit of time to get into a groove with 3 classes that just started and all the keeping up with our schedules/sports/etc. Scrapping is at a minimum with me at the moment. :(
I'm hoping I'll get my groove soon! Good luck to you .... so glad you got to guest before school started. It was perfect timing for you!!! :)

I'm feeling less alone. And you're right Jenn for the guest spot, August was the perfect time. I was lucky...

I thought the same...about your guest polly spot. I am really enjoying my time guesting, but it's hard to fit it all in. I have just started a new job as a nanny. I was a nanny before, but this is with a new family so lots of new routines and getting to know new people. My coping strategy when things get busy is to scrap more ha! Not sure how that works. I also have a grown up son moping as his girlfriend went off to uni today and a husband who is super stressed with work. So TLP is my escape as it is for lots of us. I wish you well in your organising. Let us know if you work out the secret!

It seems like one busy period sort of just rolls into the next, LOL. We all have seasons that are slower than others, though. During the stressful times, it's good for me to step back for a day or two, reboot by getting my house/kids/something in order in my limited free time... even just cleaning up my hard drive helps. Then I feel better about things and am ready to create again.

I totally understand your feeling
With the first year of school for my little girl, the work that i need to finish before my break for my pregnancy, my health problem with my pregnancy and some work we made in our house the the arrival of the new baby (we made a new step in our house for the bedroom) my time is really precious this time and i can't scrap ....
I sent you lot of courage for this périod my friend and hope you will find a good organization for you and your family ....
