May AJ challenge: iNSD is over..... and....

Now that you all have played, scrapped and bought to your heart's content I am challenge you. Challenge you to what? Here it goes. I was able to sneak in here onlu a few times during the iNSD celebration because of my daughter's BIG choir concert. Here in the AJ challenge we will be celebrating iNSD just for the rest of the month. :woot

Now that you have a brand new set of goodies to play with and you had a week to "rest" I want you to play with us here.

Here is the challenge, we are celebrating our great iNSD weekend. You ladies were having fun, I could tell when I came and check on the festivities.

i - INDIVIDUAL (You must make this about one specific individual, it could be you or it could be any other person)
N - NEW ITEMS - I want to see at least 75% of the page be new products from here TLP. I want to see all those new products in use, I need some extra AJ inspiration.
S - SUNNY - In the last Pride of the Pad, I picked this amazing AJ page from a group of "sunny", "happy" AJ pages. I think this is a new trend and even though I am not a "trendy" person and sometimes jump into the trend bandwagon late I have to say I love this "trend". It is a positive and enlighten one (think of light, positive vibes).:beat
Here is the page. I wanted to add, even though I used the word sunny, there doesn't have to be any yellow, I just want to see a happy or positive AJ. This month is about seeing the glass half full!

D - DECLARED UN-Art Journal material - (I am specially excited about this one) I want you to use AT LEAST ONE item that that you seem it doesn't fit in an AJ page and of course make it fit!


Remember you can go messy or simple or anywhere in between this is after all your AJ page.

AJ pages must include at least 50% of TLP's products and should be uploaded to the AJ's Gallery here at the Pad.

By "new" do you mean new to us (anything we bought recently) or do you mean something released in the store recently?

You are making me think! Oh I complain about that every time. Haha. Can you thumbnail the AJ page you chose I'm not finding it or thinking yellow? This sounds like fun though.

Yes, I will! It doesn't have to be yellow... actually I don't think the page I chose has yellow at all. I just don't want to see "dark" pages this time around. Does that make sense?
 
It makes sense. I thought that was the one. But the sunny threw me off. Actually as I look for paper I keep looking sunny I'll change to light.
But what does not belong on an art journal page? I think I figured mine out -- but it took some looking. LOL this is fun really -- I just mumble a lot.

I have a full folder of stuff that I have trouble adding to AJs but that always makes me smile and the end result is always one that makes me happy.... so I am going to that folder immediately.
 
I want one of those folders. Haven't been doing this long enough

N new The kit is new to me , Full of wonder I got it through LBW's grab bag- purple :-)

For me it's Jacque's paper dolls. I adore them, but I always think of them as being part of a scrapbook page never an AJ. Of course, I guess that is so personal. What I don't think it "goes" might be exactly what you love using every single time. Does it make sense? I think that's what I am so excited about this one challenge. I want to see what you guys think it doesn't go in AJ. I know, I am nosy like that!
 
Caryline, we need to get you a signature hun! I thought you had one.
 
I know I need a signature. There are just so many choices. I guess I have to soon so I can be a proper Guest Polly. And that is interesting because I think the paper dolls are perfect for art journaling. LOL. Okay I won't make this so hard.

there are some awesiome packs VERY cheap fro,m Kim Jensen today on SOSN, which I thought it may help with the "somethiung that is not supposed to be on Art Journal" I posted my half way page if anyone is interested in getting these bits (which are also great for any page- and very very cheap)
