this is totally dumb and totally random, fyi, lol...

I'm sitting on facebook, bored outta my mind, b/c I'm looking at some of my photographer's groups talking about random issues. I think, oh, I should go back over to TLP and read that thread I've been meaning to.

It made me realize why I am not around in the scrapping world like I used to. Before facebook, I socialized with you guys, the scrap community, which was awesome b/c we share our lives and our stories. Now I do a lot of that socializing on facebook.

And geez, it's not nearly as fun. :dizzy

Well, at least now I get it, right? maybe I can make a better effort to come hang out more after MOC. :heartlub
 
Facebook has a way of sucking you in, doesn't it? I get those moments too, when I'm like, why am I here? I'm not even enjoying it! I do try to stay here more. It's better for my mood, for sure!!!

that is why I do both! But FB is where I tell everyone about TLP, and here is where I live!

even though I agree in some way...I have to say, Facebook is convenient for people like me, living far from family & many friends....

but yes- I get you Kat... and look forward to having you more aroiund!!!!!
 
I do love some parts of Facebook, but it seems like it's too easy to start doing good things like sharing pics with Mom and checking in with friends, and next thing you know, you're doing something totally pointless, like playing FarmVille or debating politics or voting on the funniest cat video. lol I couldn't give Facebook up completely but I need to step away sometimes.
 
FB is great to keep up with people who aren't on TLP plus Anne reminds us a lot of chats etc on there!
 
I am so so dumb, one day, will understand twitter, google plus, hashtags, and everything new. I feel like my parents, with the vcr
