Don and I have something very very ARTY that we think you're all going to
This week we are introducing to all our new friends and fans here at The Lily Pad our range of POCKET ART JOURNALS.
We wanted to share with you all, the story behind our Pocket Journals!
So what are pocket journals, I hear you ask??
Just that… tiny little journals that can fit in your pocket! We have been wanting to design a product range that called out to those folks that wanted to complete a digital and physical project (hybrid) in one day, using limited supplies, that didn’t cost the earth and at the end of the day, hold your own little art piece in your hands.
We thought this was a unique idea, and captured our own needs as well…. we’re the type of gals, that love to have books, visual journals and sketchbooks everywhere! Even though we love the digital process of art journaling and the ease that goes with it (less mess lol), we still craved to hold that piece between our fingers. And hence our new product range evolved.
If you’re anything like us….you end up with loads of beautiful digital products that stay just that…. digital. Now with the introduction of our Pocket Journal range, we’ve created a product that is easy to assemble, no glue required…. just your imagination, a printer and 1 piece of paper.
Sissy Sparrows has loads planned for our Pocket Journals in the future, but we’re kicking off this first round with “The Little Book of 12” series. A miniature workshop (a set of 12 released periodically) with instructions, videos, themes and prompts, backgrounds, coordinating elements, flip books and private flickr group.
And we have the first three available here in our store at The Lilypad.
