I am making batches and batches of
Cake Balls today!
:pigout
I love to give them away for Christmas!
What is your must make for Christmas?

Burned chocolate chip cookies ... love that taste..
2nd Peanut blossoms
3rd cornflake wreaths (i lazy just dump measure cup, don't form into wreath)

I miss the ability to cook... but I will get stronger so i can

We have to make sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies every Christmas. I tried to change it up one year and the kids nearly had my head for it. So we make them, and eat them, and give some away if there are any left.

I always make rice krispie squares for my hubs. He also loves butter tarts but I just buy those, not make them myself.

Swedish Ginger Cookies! Yum! My parents just came home from spending a few months in AZ and brought us some oranges fresh from their tree, so we grate the orange peel from those for the cookies.

I used to do a lot more Christmas baking, but that was pre-kids when I had a lot more time.

The little powdered sugar covered cookies, we call them Russian tea cookies. My table was blanketed in powdered sugar last night. We made like 4 dozen of those things plus a bunch of other cookies.

Last night I made red velvet brownies and Peppermint Christmas Cookie Bark (or as we call it Christmas Crack because it's addicting) to bring in to work today for our little treat and celebrate last day of school for the break.

I change it up every year, but there is always a new cookie that I try for the holidays.

I do them the old fashion way....lol...and did a blog post many years ago about the toil of these yummy balls of chocolate!

I'm so over cooking in general. I barely do it ever. I will force myself to at least make some Oreo balls. (Pro-tips: if you add a teaspoon or so of Crisco to your dipping chocolate, it thins it a tad and makes them easier to dip. For drizzling, I add the chocolate to a sandwich bag and cut off a tip of the corner. It just glides on quick and easy from there - I can drizzle the whole tray in a minute.)

For dinner I bought a pre-stuffed turkey breast from Trader Joes. Will see how that goes. LOL

Ugh it is too hot here to be baking! My friends are lucky if I can drag myself out of the air-con to wish them Merry Christmas :giggle

i love cake balls! those are the most dangerous thing to have lying around though! yum-yum-yummy!

we have not baked anything. i think its a good thing. my waistline does not need any of it!

Last night we made Christmas rock candy - that is always a favorite to make! We also always make Christmas cookies a day or two before Christmas so that we can leave some out for Santa.
