Welcome to "12 Days of Art Journaling". During this time of the year I get really stressed out and thought why not make some challenges to take my mind of my infinite "to do" list for at least an hour. I have tried to design all 12 days of simple and fun challenges. You can make these in any size Art Journal (AJ), maybe you want to try to make journaling cards with an AJ flair or maybe a 5x7 size to print and frame. Maybe these could be those last minute presents you are still trying to figure out. Whatever you decide on the size, make it work for you. If you change your mind and want to do different sizes, that works too! Here in the AJ area we are VERY flexible, remember NO RULES! (Well, almost no rules, you must follow the challenge in some way and you must follow the 50% TLP's product rule from the gallery).

NOTE: You can start the challenge at any moment before the end of the 2014 year!

DAY #4 Challenge: CALLING everything in sets of 4! :giggle Today, everything you use must be use in sets of 4. Example: You can do 4 snowflakes (or multiples of 4 counts too, like 8 or 12, etc).

good one! need to go back and do some non-english stuff for AJ3 first but i like this one
 
this was really hard for me, I don't work in fours usually and although I started out strong, I got carried away and lost count. in the end I deleted a few things I knew were not in 4's not sure if I got it all though.

Otherwise, I was feeling festive and artsy and a bit shallow today so went with a more free approach. So much fun playing with the artsy side of BYOC!

 
here's mine - with 4 quadrants and 4 different papers, four of each alpha and 4 strips

I don't either, I always work on 3s or 5s, but I wanted to challenge you all.

This layout was a lift from a traditional art journaling page done with paints. I had a fun time drawing free hand and turning the shapes into layer masks (1st ever attempt at this). It was a real challenge to mimic paint with digital items. There are 4 stars, 8 waves, & 4 houses.
 
I am having fun, Thanks Dalis, best thing is I am using my favourite kits for fun (silly) stuff. I often feel like this snowman when I am buying presents. :giggle
Edit.... ups sorry Dalis I didn't read the challenge properly,I read it as 4 of something and not until I saw the other pages did it click ,,please can you just drink a lot of punch and start seeing quadruple ! I will do another one, but I am leaving this one up, because I like him.

Cath, isn't wonderful that all the projects look the same, that is the best inspiration ever!
 

four of a kind - four letters, four cards, four lines of stitching, four banners, four star stitches, and multiples of four of stars and glitters!
