Today, I am bringing my laptop for the second time to have it reset. I just came home from shopping for a christmas suit for my youngest...
After dropping the laptop off, we are going to a christmas party where santa will actually be attending!!!

After that, hubby was talking about seeing his basket team play (he informed them he wouldn't play).

And for tomorrow: NOTHING ON THE PLANNING (yes!) but... things can change rapidly

So, what are you up to, folks?

This morning we are heading to Illinois for a gymnastics meet, and we'll turn around and come home tonight. Tomorrow I have an open house, and then we're going to try to get together with friends for dinner.

Last night my son had a hockey game which they won 2-1. Today I am going to start and finish my Christmas shopping, got my list and budget all set. I need to get my tree up still, hopefully today. Tomorrow will be laundry, making smoothies for the week and maybe some baking, we'll see how the mood strikes me.

My husband and son both have bad cases of the flu so I am spending a lot of time nursing! We also have play practice from 11-3 so between those two things, my day is pretty much gone.

When you say 'open house' Rebecca, does this mean you are selling your house?
Sorry if it sounds stupid, but I'm just checking there is no cultural difference?

Oh, I hope you get to setting your tree up, it's always fun but also a great relief, when it's done. :thumbsups

And what do you mean with making your smoothies for a week? IS that possible? I always make them to have immediately taking in. How do you dot that then?

I wish they get better soon, for their sakes and yours, lol!

They are made with almond milk (chocolate), vanilla yogurt, peanut butter and quick oats (ground up to a flour like consistency) and I pour them into Mason jars. After 4 hours they are thickened and ready to drink, good in fridge for 4 days. I will make 4 of them Sunday and he has breakfast until Thursday. Sometimes he will have one before orafter hockey for the protein and they fill you up.

Ah, in that sense!!! I thought about fruit smoothies, it's something completely different!
Great idea though, sometimes it's hard to get them to eat in the morning. Do you eat/drink it yourself?

I do the same thing for me but I use fruit instead of the PB and I will add some chia seeds.

Thanks ! I know I am curious but in that way we are to learn something new. :thumbsups
