What's the next event in your house? A birthday? Anniversary? Holiday? What plans do you have for it?

Today was my anniversary with my ex-husband so I feel like maybe it's worthy of celebrating (the 'ex' part, anyway). :giggle

Then my dh's birthday on the 31st. No real plans, mostly because my volunteer stuff is interfering, we have to go to a thing that night. Well, I do. He just has to come with me. LOL

My birthday is Tuesday... and then the next celebration will be the start of school (ha!) at the start of September and then my youngest's birthday at the end of September.

Actually we might celebrate on 9th August a bit when our cat is allowed outside after his vaccinations and our move!

I would have been married to my ex 25 years this year. Definitely should celebrate the fact we didn't make it nearly that long LOL

My anniversary with current DH is in September, but we don't do much for it. The next BIG event is my oldest son's wedding in October. They were going to wait until next summer, but have now decided to get married on Halloween. Should be a fun wedding :)

My GD turned 18 yesterday so we celebrated with family. She is in for a week from Florida. My DD has a birthday today so we are working on a family outing. She and her family are in from New York for 10 days. Between celebrating and vacationing with them I am wearing out. Oh well, enjoy it while you can I say.

John's birthday is next Friday. I have a surprised planned for him that I'm super excited about!

Bobby (our Boston) has a birthday on the 29th... but we don't really celebrate. We're coming up on our busy time of year for b-days. My DD turns 26 on August 26th. So that will be our next real celebration. My FIL's b-day is Sept. 3, my SD's b-day is Sept. 6 and my DH's b-day is Sept. 10th. Kind of jammed in there together.

I'll be hosting a family dinner for my hubs and daughter who both have birthdays next week. We're delaying the celebration until we return from holidays on the 2nd. It'll be a relaxing casual BBQ with cake and ice cream. My daughter requested that we have the peanut butter caramel yogurt ice cream I discovered a few weeks ago (Chapman) and I'll order a chocolate/vanilla butter cream cake.

We have a small birthday celebration planned for DG tomorrow, she'll be 9!! I can't believe she is that "old" already.

We're empty until November. Then we've got several birthdays and of course the holidays.

ED's birthday is in September and YD's is in October, which is far enough that I'm not stressing about it yet but close enough for them to already be thinking about it. I've had countdown tiles on my phone for over a month and they keep asking to see how many days are left. lol They're turning 6 and 4. :)

my son begins Driver's Ed. on Monday........I am not ready for this as next step is a drivers license.

Joel's birthday is Aug. 6th, but we'll probably celebrate the weekend before. I will be at school all day on the 6th- it's our second teacher day and then in the evening it's Meet the Teacher night. :(

DD's 5th birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. She is having a 'hulu' (luau) family party at my parents' house.

Next is Bianca's bday in October. So glad to have some time in between.

Our next celebration is when my son gets home from his summer working at Philmont. He'll be home about the 14th of August and then can move in to the dorm on the 15th. His sister will be home for the weekend to see him too. Looks like our family celebrating will probably be pizza and multiple trips taking stuff to the dorm...

August is approaching rapidly and its a big month for us ... hubby and I have our wedding anniversary on the 11th (24 years) and then my eldest daughter has her boyfriends Formal (prom for you guys I think?) on the 12th, then she celebrates her 17th birthday on the 26th! I may need a lay down in September but she then has her Year 12 University entrance exams in the first half of the month (very stressful time) and then she is flying out to Japan at the end of September so I don't think there is going to be much chance of laying around :(
