Dreary, rainy days

We are having a very dreary and rainy day here in Oklahoma. I am not complaining because we need the rain and I don't have any plans until tonight. My boys have already asked for a pajama day (wish granted). I am having such a hard time getting motivated to do anything. I have spent the last few days watching the soccer games and completely sucked into the Divergent and Insurgent books (which I finished this morning). I have some pictures that I took of my friend's family that I need to edit, but I am not motivated at all. In fact, I want to just download Allegiant and give in to finishing up the series.

What is your favorite way to spend a dreary, rainy day if you don't have to be anywhere?

I wish we would get some good rain. Favorite way to enjoy it sitting on the patio enjoying a cuppa Joe or glass of wine enjoying the coolness and the pitter patter

We had a rainy day too yesterday, we love to play games, color , watch a movie and read a good book. if we don't have to go outside we hang out pj's all day , we love those pyjamadays :-)

We've been having a very rainy day today, too! I love to scrap, which I just did, or watch LOST with my girl. :D

I usually either get totally lazy, or totally motivated and end up deep cleaning the pantry or something like that!

I'm with you, Julie. For some reason, rainy or snowy weather has always thrust me into cleaning mode. Not sure why but I'm certainly grateful for crappy weather once in a while. Once my cleaning itch has been scratched, I love snuggling on the couch with the fam.

We have only had one rainy day since summer vacation started a month ago. I keep saving all my indoor projects for rainy days, so they haven't much happened. I just don't want to stay indoors when it's sunny, I get enough of that in the winter. But if I did have one, I'd probably spend it painting or fixing or cleaning out something or other.
