The gift card money holder is super easy to do. I just split an 8.5x11 sized canvas into 8 equal parts and decorated each section, printed and folded in half. Voila! I used zots to hold the gift cards in place and let the kids glue the elements into place. Super fast, cute, and the kids had a part in handmaking the gift.
These are so fun, Trista. I am not completely ready, I need to have the boys do something sweet like this.
We don't normally do big Mother's Day/Father's Day gifts but with some credit card reward points and tax refund, we both got bikes this year to go biking with the boys and it has been so awesome to do something fun like that as a family.

Great ideas! Not sure what I'll do for DH on Father's Day.....but thinking he'll want some parts for his 4x4 deer hunting truck that he's fixing up.

Cute ideas! I'll make my hubs a favorite meal (homemade potato salad and steak). We don't give gifts for father's day or mom's day. We did when the kids were younger but now they are all adults and a good meal and family time is how we celebrate.
The candy bar poster is such a super cute idea and should be a total hit with "dad"!

This year I got Eric some hiking pants that zip off at the knees into shorts and a t-shirt that says "Real Men Make Twins" or something like that. He'll probably never wear it but he said he wanted it so, whatever.
The kids made him a poster with candy bars on it, the fill in the blank type thing with the candy bars in for some of the words. I plan on taking him out for supper that night depending on when we get home - maybe Texas Roadhouse so if the kids are loud it doesn't matter.
Grrrr to slow shipping Amy. I say as a last resort wrap an empty shoe box with the invoice. Not the same, but you can't control the delivery. Oh and baked spaghetti and nanner puddin! Yum-O! Ya'll are making me hungry!!
I love those ideas! I ordered some shoes from Zappos for the kid;s Dad but ummm they haven't even shipped yet and now I'm annoyed. It's been 4 days. They usually have stuff to me by now. I'm making baked spaghetti for dinner and banana pudding for dessert. Now that I'm calorie counting...it's going to be a tempting dinner!

I find it quite funny that here in the UK Fathers Day is the same day as you have it in the USA, but that Mothers Day is not like that?!?!?!
