I've been subscribed to ereaderperks.com now for a few weeks and I'm surprised how many good books are available for free on Nook and Kindle! You can select your platform and genre and have the books available emailed to you.

Super cool that so many are available now. Didn't seem that way when I had my Nook. I ended up selling it though because I missed the feel & smell of real books.

thanks for the tip - i was glad to see they had a kobo list as well cos nook never works for me, being outside the US

I will have to check that out--thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the heads up chookie, I do so love a good freebie read :)

For those of you with Kindle - you might want to check out onehundredfreebooks.com. Ed always posts fabulous finds... daily! :)

I love my Kindle. There's so much great free or heavily discounted stuff out there, there's really no reason to pay full price for a book unless it's something you really want to read now.

Your title puts "e-reader-computer & smart phone". But your description puts "Nook & Kindle".

So is this applicable to all? I'm asking cos I dun have a Kindle nor a Nook.

If you can get past the clunky website, then http://www.gutenberg.org/ is very cool too.
Cindy & Juliette, is the website applicable to smart phone?

Agnes, you can get a free Kindle app for your smart phone at Amazon , and then you can use them. (at least that is what was advertised .
bookbub gives you different options for different e-readers , depending what format the book is published in.
