While the style doesn't always work well with darks I use it a lot to blend papers together. It takes the layer it is applied to and blends it (makes it a bit transparent to the layer below and blends it together).

Dalis- thank you for all 3 tutorials :) I learned a few things I didn't know so I am a happy camper!! I have been using some of the brush techniques you showed but in different ways then you showed, and I found like the wand selection was easier than "my way" .. (I used to hold down the shift all the time and clicked in.. your way without holding the shift is much easier!!) Also the dual brush, never used that... ummmm now I am going to have to do another page.. ha ha so I can play or I will see what todays MOC is and try to incorporate that little new trick!! Very informative techniques you have shown. All I can say is thank you. While I do a lot of the blending and using of brushes, seeing your little tips in the videos adds new dimension for me :) I also use the style I made for the "no font float" for extra blending on my brushes and such and I clipped the word art too (the little paragraph) over the paper fill in the "I Will Do This" for an extra added look which was pretty cool thing to do with word art. Thank you again for the fun tutorials, fun techniques and fun layout page challenge. Awesome, and Thank you Sahlin for the wonderful word art!! FUN FUN FUN is all I can say!!!

I am so glad you learned a bit of new stuff. btw. I used to shift click too until I learned this!

I still had to edit it since it depends so heavily on what the background looks like, and I thought it was a lot harder to edit since I couldn't tell so easily where the pixels were starting to disappear. If it's easier to just do it from scratch, I'm not sure why to have the style, tbh. :/

Yep, what Christa mentioned. I am not sure how PSE deals with styles specially on new versions. I have a SUPER OLD PSE 5.0 in my mac that I don't use anymore.

I use PhotoImpact and even if I've PS I don't like it :) I got my version as a gift from Adobe but still don't like it. Maybe this will not do but then let me know and I guess I've to open up that darn PS :)
 
Alright, after making my first page and then ending up using it for the scrap therapy challenge, I went back and made another one lol! AJ can be so therapeutic, I just love throwing things at a page and moving it around... paint is my new passion lol

 
I would like to try the challenge...Thank you Krista for the awesome word art and also to Dalis for the wonderful tutorials...gave many good ideas...

I know! When I saw the scrap therapy, I was thinking the AJ gals are going to have a blast with that one.

Welcome Sandy! I love that size, I should use it more often. Of course when I use a rectangle size I do 8x10 so I can print it at Costco and frame it. Any size is welcome!

FEB 7th. I think I wrote it on challenge one, but forgot to add it here. I'll update. That gives you almost an entire week after MOC... you see... I am so good to you gals!

ok i just start to make art journal layout during the MOC and i love this !!
Hereis ahuge challenge for me !! I alreday see this technique on layoutand i love it buti never made!! I'm so happy to learn how tomake this ... now, i try !!
