Yippee!!! Top of the line too. Earlier this week the snowblower went out. Gotta love winter in michigan.

Thank u!!! It is blowing cold air and the pilot light is out and will not relight. Called the "answering" service. We will see what happens.

I just had to look what that was in Celsius - and wow that's cold. I hope you can have it fixed quickly.

Yikes! Not a good time to lose a furnace. It is scary cold out! We didn't see the temps you're seeing because Lake Michigan keeps us a little warmer, but it's still been -4ish and the wind is howling! I hope someone can come relight your pilot light and figure out what's wrong!

Husband is currently downstairs banging on it. Mind you he read the manual first and followed the instructions. The thermostat keeps flashing system malfunction...we have closed off all the doors to the rooms and put a comforter up over the huge bay window we have on the main floor of the house. Although pretty, it was causing a huge draft. Still have not heard back from furnace people and it is after 8:00am here.

I did same and can't even begin to understand how cold that would be cause we work in Celsius and just - here is cold to me

Stay safe and try get warm

So the heating and cooling people said it will be tomorrow before anyone can come out. I understand that other people were scheduled slready, but we paid for some premium membership and not quite sure what the extra money was for. Blah

Oh its -26 Celsius so people don't have to keep converting.

We had 65 degrees F Monday morning at 5am... Tuesday morning? 14 degrees F with windchill of 0 degrees.... This is in Va beach.. we broke the record from cold today that was set 130 years ago... I feel bad for Dalis in Chicago who's windchill this morning per the news was -30 (MINUS 30)F and Cleveland Ohio people with a -24 F.... this is really ludicrous! and then we are supposed to be at 63 F on Saturday... it is just too darn cold!

Oh no! I hope you can stay warm! We had that when I was a kid - I remember my baby brother eating breakfast wearing a snowsuit.
Make sure to drain your pipes/toilets!
Do you have a mall or some where warm like that where you can hang out for the day? That is so frustrating that you have to wait so long for them to come out!!

In Ohio last night, we had temps of -19, with a windchill of -40. BRRR. And our work furnace keeps going out. All the schools in the area are closed through Wednesday... but of course I didn't go into education ;)

The bigger problem is all of the DRIFTING of the snow. Roads are COVERED.

Git some space heaters but the circuits keep blowing....i keep thinking that i am grateful that we nirmally have heat and that i could be much worse off.

danica, we went through that a few winters ago in ohio. our furnace croaked, and it took over 24 hrs for anyone to come fix it. thankfully we had a wood burning fire place... we fired that bad boy up and huddled close!!

No heat (or no water) and I'm checking into a hotel for the night. I don't do well without those. You are so brave for sticking it out.
