I want my life back!

LOL!! Poor Angie. There just about over! How long til kids go back? Mine have about 5 days or so.

LOL...my DH is going back to work today; my kids go back Monday. I love my DH very much and it has been great to have him home. But it's time. ;)

I know what you mean Angie .... my hubby has been home over the holidays (gone back to work today thank heavens!) BUT the kids are on Summer holidays and they don't go back to school until the end of January ... and they are ...ALWAYS.... here!!! Everywhere I turn its Mum, MUM, M.U.M ..................... I stay up really late at night just to get some alone time :giggle

LOL Angie... yeah, me too!

Amanda... you're too funny. Mum.. mum...mumumumumum! :) I was just teasing my husband about this last night because all three of them (my 2 sons and DH) seem to think that I'm the only one in the house that can find anything or solve a problem. I put on my headphone to scrap and say "la la la, I can't hear you"

Ugh... I hear ya! I just want some normalcy in my house. I worked through Christmas this year so it wasn't quite the same. Plus it's super cold right now (-30C)... I cannot wait for our trip to Cuba on February 1st!

oh my gosh, I totally hear ya. Hubby has been home for a week and a half... I'm ready for him to go back. All he does is stay in bed til 10 (although I do too hehe) and then play on the computer all day. No wonder my son only wants to play technology... he comes by it naturally lol.

Yesterday I told Doug (hubby) that I'm spending time organizing my files/photos until I'm done. Our server is down, so I have to take each (of 7!) HD out, grab the photos onto my HD, then transfer to my EHD. Such a process... but I'm done organizing the EHD... I have 1.3 TBs free (from less than 1) so that's a good start. Today I'm grabbing HD 1 and starting those. I'm hoping to grab all the photos... I'm hoping to get those sorted out because I'm pretty sure I have multiples lol. Didn't want to loose any so I just kept copying them ROFL.

Anyway... rant over heh. Good thread!

Man oh man. I could not agree more. I am so ready to get back to our routine.

Um, yes. My husband went back today, but my kids don't go back until Tuesday. We've all enjoyed family togetherness and now I want a schedule again.

Renee, I am really jealous!!!! I would love to go there some day. My father was born in Cuba.

Wow, really? That is so very cool! Well, it will be my first time. I so looking forward to some sand and sun, plus kid free for a week won't hurt either. ;)

OMG it's terrible. Dh went back to work today which is lovely except we are having new floors put in on Saturday and SOMEONE has to have THE ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR empty by then. All while my sister and her husband are visiting. I need a drink.

I have this problem, too. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm hte only one who knows how to open cabinet doors or move things so that I can see what is underneath/behind them. Everyone else seems to only be capable of standing and hollering, "I can't find it!"

The one that gets me most upset is when the kids leave their dad's side to hunt me down to ask if I can get them a snack. As if Dad is completely incapable of helping them find food.

Ha - my husband is so guilty of this - if it's not within eye sight - it's obviously not there! LOL I shouldn't pick on him though - he's the best guy ever - but he does crack me up about how he doesn't think to move stuff around first before claiming "it's not there"! :) hehe

My kids aren't back until Monday and they are BORED. I could have saved all my money for Christmas and nothing would have been different. Annoying!

I tell my kids that if they need something they can get it themselves. If they say they are bored (after all the gifts they got), I start listing all the chores they have to do. They go away very quickly at that point. haha

we call it "looking with their MAN eyes"

Okay y'all! I'm on the flip-side!~

It's Monday, kids return to school, and I'm back at work!!!! YEA!!!!!

P.S.:
DH is retired and after 2 weeks of being home....I was ready to meet the frigid temperature of 12 degrees this morning with a smile on my face!

P.S.S.:
I know some of you have it worse than I when it comes to the cold temperatures but I live in the south for a reason. Warm temperatures in the winter! Bwahahahaha
