be honest CTs

I have to say, you know I can't well follow forums, but someone called my attention to this thread, only read one or two answers, so maybe this was mentioned by someone before, but just my thoughts:

maybe being in one too many teams is the key to the whole thing....
you know I ALWAYS praise your pages and, though I am on a quest to do my GSO posts with people who are hardly ever feature or have never been featured, I keep picking your pages.

I am in a quiet a few teams, but, like Anne mentioned before, I know none of "my" designers will want a page am not happy with...you have to have seen me countless times at Mirjam's asking for her and the girls input....apart of other teams, you are in quiet a few am in.

the messed up bit often comes hand in hand with greatness in creativity.
look at the greats in art and you wont find one who had it easy in their personal lives.

but there is one thing I think you should see: doesn't matter how messed up or not you are, making lots of pages for a deadline can kill your mojo/creativity...so maybe the key is to look into which teams you are more inclined to be in love with...I know isn't easy, but I have done it in the past, quit all and kept only 3 teams.....
You will find that even the messed up bit gets better when you choose a home or two, instead of being around so many your heart doesn't find it's footing......

:) I was wondering where have you been... Noted on what you have just said.. and once again you are right... love love love you...

this is when I have to re-evaluate my best? best to whom? me, my family, the designer or the peeps in digiland?

This. You may not be happy with it - but maybe other people see it differently. I don't think you should be too critical of yourself.

I ran into exactly the same problem a few months ago and I decided to quit all store CTs I was on and only kept 3 designer CTs. The load that fell off my shoulders was HUGE plus I actually ENJOY scrapping for ME again! Not because there was a kit deadline and I had to scrap! So maybe this will work for you as well ;) Hugs hon!

precisely what I did -see my post above-
a huge weight comes of your shoulder indeed.

but there is also Anne's point...
I think Li Li is always being hyper critical of her pages, where we see marvels, she sees not good enough
is like trying to tell an anorexic she isnt fat.....

by the aay Petra signature ROCKS±!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eh...we're all human...we all have good and bad days. Some days my brain just wants to shut down and take a rest....I have to respect that and step back for a bit, get away from the computer and take a night to relax with tv or a good book but stay away from the scrapping and the computer. It helps. We can get so stressed with too many deadlines.
