It's Friday!!! What do you have planned for the weekend?

Today is DD2's Thanksgiving program at school where we're being treated to a feast and performance. Can't wait! Tonight, my oldest daughter's high school football team is in a playoff game for state. Her boyfriend plays varsity, so we're headed to the stadium to cheer them on. It is (of course) freezing cold so that's going to be interesting! Tomorrow, I am picking up my best friend at 9 in the morning and heading to all-day crop. It lasts until 11 pm, so I think it's going to give me enough time to get my Project Life caught up. Finally!! Keep your fingers crossed! LOL Sunday is church and then we need to pack. We are headed to my parents for a long Thanksgiving break. A full, but fun weekend ahead...

I hope you have a great weekend too!

Sounds fun, Laura. I which I had an all-day scrap!

We are having a T'giving feast at school today as well. Then grocery shopping, shoe shopping w/ DD (sigh) and a couples baby shower tonight (DH loves those).

Family photos tomorrow (adoption fundraiser), then a Doctor Who party for my son and a bunch of his HS friends from 3pm until... they are going to watch a marathon then the big anniversary episode, while eating me out of house and home.

Church sunday and I'm hoping some scrappy time :)

DD's preschool is having a Thanksgiving lunch this morning with the parents. I think they are doing some kind of song/presentation/something afterwards, but of course, DD doesn't remember. :giggle

We are supposed to be doing a service project raking leaves for an elderly couple in our church tomorrow, but it is going to be so cold and DD has been sick all week, so not sure we will make it out there. If not, we will just do our regular erranding, household chores, etc. I am itching to get the Christmas stuff/my Countdown to Christmas album started, but I am going to be a good gurl and wait until NEXT weekend for that.

I'm going to a Doctor Who party tomorrow! I really can't wait! And then Sunday I'm going to the Renegade fair in Brooklyn. Gotta fit some grocery shopping and cleaning in there too with Thanksgiving coming up. We have about 16 people coming over (probably our smallest crowd in years!) and the house is a disaster!

We are heading out of town tonight with our another family. We are staying at their parents house so that we can get up in the morning and go to a Purdue football game and do some tailgating. It's supposed to be a high of 30 so I'm thinking we are kind of nuts! I am going to pack our snowpants and lots of warm clothes and a football so the kids will run around and stay warm that way! :giggle

Then we are coming home on Saturday after the game and are going to our nanny's high school play. I'm looking forward to that. Sunday is Sunday School and Church and then maybe a little clothes shopping for me in the afternoon. It's going to be a crazy busy weekend.

I'm also hoping to somehow get to the movies to see Catching Fire. OH and I should probably plan for Thanksgiving since I'm hosting! Ack!

Robin - sounds like fun! I'm a Doctor Who fan too!
Karen - I'm so jealous. I really want to see it too but unfortunately can't go this wkend.

Everyone's weekend sounds like so much more fun that mine.

My weekend is packing stuff out to our shed (that was cleaned out by our landlady a month ago but we've been lazy), taking broke down cardboard boxes to the recycing center, and cleaning. We will have 17 people (including us) here for Thanksgiving.

I also need to make my shopping list for the stuff we're making and start shopping. Thankfully it's potluck...I'm mainly just doing veggies, rolls and a few pies. My mom is bringing the turkey and dressing since we have the tiniest little wall oven, I can't even fit a full size cookie sheet in it.

I'm also hoping to fit in a PL page or two in there. We'll see how that goes.

Karen - I'm so jealous! I can't go this wkend but hope to see it soon!

We have clear skies for the wkend here so am getting out Sat and Sun to photograph a few family sessions. Should be fun! Other than that I'll be stuck in my office editing all wkend but I don't mind. I'll probably fit a bit of scrapping in too.

Hold onto your hats for this excitement...

4-5 loads of laundry, a 3 page essay about my husband who is currently out of town and I haven't even interviewed him yet, I need to read the play Fences, and of course run and soccer. And did I mention my husband is out of town.

House projects!! :: fake excitement ::

And probably some work.

I'm giving Angie a run for her money in the exciting department.

Lucky lady Laura, have a great time!

So many Thanksgiving feasts, how wonderful for all of you!

We don't have much. I think I'll do a layout or two, do some assignments early. Kids have TaeKwonDo tonight (I'm taking a break), tomorrow kids have soccer. Other than that, nothing exciting for us.

It is Saturday here and thankfully the weekend. We are trying to renovate our house and so today I am doing all the jobs I can do without help along with getting to the supermarket, taking DS2 to violin and finding time to skype my husband who is in Hong Kong.

Its Saturday morning here already and the kids have been up since 5:30am, so we are a little sluggish, I'm only my second cup of tea and starting to not feel like I have a hangover from the early wakeup even though I don't drink!!! The early mornings are a killer with 5 little ones running around! Thankfully the older two boys had a sleepover at a friends house last night as they had their school disco!

Once the boys get back, we are getting ready for Dominic's (eldest son) birthday, he's having a little party at the local Bowling alley with some friends of his. Then this afternoon we are going to try and get our family photos done, as long as the kids arnt feral!

Then Sunday, we have church in the morning and then coming back to clean up ready for Monday as we have a house inspection!

tonight I'm cleaning the house after the kiddos go to bed

tomorrow, a friend is coming over to help Mark with adding more insulation in the attic and then in the evening I'm having a DYD album prep party... I'm setting up several "stations"... one for embossing, one for seeing thickers on page protectors, one for sewing sequin pockets, and one for Silhouette cutting... oh, and one for supplies we're trying to get rid of for others to go through :)

Sunday we are skipping church because the kids and I have been sick and we want to be healthy when we go visit family for Thansgiving...

four, including me... I'll be sure to get some photos and post them in the DYD forum of all the fun stuff we're doing

be right over. ;) sounds like awesome fun!!

Exciting stuff going on in here. I wanna tag along with Laura to her crop and pop in and snag/share some goodies at the DYD party at Heather's. Oh if I only had a plane! or teleporting device. :giggle

Our weekend is a little busy, and it's suddenly cold and rainy which really puts me in the dumps. :( Saturday is shopping for lots of goodies for DYD prep. Sunday DD has a birthday party and I have got to get busy prepping DS 8th birthday party myself. EEK!

You got nothing on me, Peppermint. My daughter (14) had a sleepover last night, too.
