Christmas Cards

I just ordered mine from Sam's Club. They have stationary cards on cardstock now and I'm hoping they're great quality. 25 for $17.

I get mine from tiny prints, I just love the quality and feel of them. I've tried shutterfly as well, and they are nice too.

9cents each walmart 4x6 photos! I send about 100 each year, good bargain for me...

we take our family photo after we put up the tree... so i won't design the cards until after that. And the holiday hustle begins! :giggle

I generally print locally so I don't have to wait for shipping.

Well, after Kim commented about Sam's Club, I checked Costco and they are offering the nicer cardstock with a double sided option, which is what I really wanted this year! I contemplated Shutterfly, but was balking at the cost

I order mine from Vistaprint so I can get double-sided 4x8s and have my Christmas letter printed on the back.

Shutterfly but now that my son's birthday is in December, I usually do a Shutterfly thank you and then follow up with store bought cards - I use Roswell Park cards because it goes to local charity.

Link me, I can't find it!

Julie,
My problem is that we don't send 50 cards, we always have half left behind!

Hey julie, I just realize that you can buy 25 announcements only but 50 holiday. If they are the same size, I can choose my custom option and just print the holiday card as an annoucement and buy only 25! yep!

I've used Costco for the past several years now. Just the regular print, not the card stock. The card stock sounds really nice this year, though. I think I'll have to try that one out. And thanks Dalis for the heads up about the difference in announcements and cards! I don't really need 50 either. :)

i've done tiny prints, WHCC and shutterfly. i'm not sure this year - i'm trying to decide between some designs i like at shutterfly and minted. we send almost 200 cards each year - it's a big expense!

I am going to ask the photo lab in Costco to show me both samples side by side of the new premium cards and the regular ones.

hands down, Persnickety prints. I love them. LOVE. And they process/ship really quickly. I did a nice paper card last year, and this year I went "cheap" and just did a regular photo print card (I had 15 cent credits I wanted to use). Anyway, I'm happy with these, too. Their colors are fantastic. I got 30 cards for a total of $5.85 (cuz of the credits I'd already purchased). I used PayPal money from Pinecone surveys I take, so they literally "cost" me nothing this year. SCORE!
