Linda,
Yes, we are doing a bird house (or any other critter house). You can use the template provided or have your own idea. We want to see that bird house in an appropriate scene. Not next Friday, but the one after that I will be posting and talking about our TECHNIQUE challenge. You have the entire month to work on both, but I say start working on them ASAP so you can get it down without a problem. Maybe even show us a few bird houses instead of one.

So, will the technique challenge include the birdhouses or separate?

It will be different. For the technique challenge, you MUST use the technique (with the providing freebie, if one is given) and do whatever page you want. But at the end of the month you should have AT LEAST 2 pages. You could of course do more than one bird/critter house or more than one technique page, but I want to see at least one page for each challenge. Does it make sense?

Dalis, it's not necessary have to be a feather-critter, right? The four-legged type also can, rite?

Oh that's an awesome idea... yep.... mine is a halloween house for a frankestein and a mummy.

I've to pass on this month challenge because I'll be opererated on October 22nd so I'll not be able to finish the challenge but I'll be back next month I hope.

Oh girl, sending you some healing thoughts!!!! Take care, ok?

Thank Dalis, I've been waiting for this operation since August so I'm happy it will happen and hopefully I'll get rid of that darn pain that really makes my life miserable. I know there will a lot of pain after but somehow I don't think it will be near anything I've gone through these last months.

Not sure what the surgery is about, but wanted to tell you a little story. Many years ago, my brother had a car accident that almost cost him his life. To top it, his surgeon damaged his nerve making him be in constant pain. Since it was a case of mal-practice no other surgeon would touch him to fix it. His surgeon died letting him hanging on the mal-practice case in court. Just only a few years ago, when he finally found a surgeon that said he would "fix him", this surgeon had a car accident and lost his arm. This angel of a surgeon "called in a favor" with another surgeon and they finally did the surgery. As soon as my brother came out of the surgery he started crying.... we all thought he was in so much pain... but there were tears of happiness. In his eyes he was "pain free" because the pain after the surgery was NOTHING compare to his "constant pain". He is now moving and making a new life for himself, so please know that there is HOPE... ALWAYS!

I'm so happy for your brother! My disc are moving and touch my nerves with every step and move I make, you can't see anything on the X-ray and it wasn't until in August they found out the disc move. I've been having back pain for 37 years but never anything like this since April this year. In my mind I feel it is going to be something like your brother after the operation because it can't get worse.

Hugs Lime. I am so glad you are getting the surgery to help you, and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Many Many hugs your way!!
