Pad Patter: 10/4 - Ever Been Arrested?

Oh boy...Erika...that sounds scary! Sounds like there are some stories that should be elaborated on :)
Me...ummm...ya....I was a bad girl as a teen. Once my mom lifted my mattress and found about $30 worth of costume jewelry and made me bring the stuff back to the store; it was soooo embarrassing and I was soooo mad at her. Guess I didn't learn my lesson though b/c a few yrs later in a Toronto store, I stole a faux fur jacket and walked out of the store with it. The security dragged me back in, called the cops, I was charged and sent to juvie at 15. I had to go to court, my parents wanted to kill me, they were so upset. I was sentenced to 30 days in juvie hall and then sent home. I never stole again. That time I did learn my lesson.

More or less. Age 16, it involved alcohol. Luckily I lived in a small town and I never had to be put behind bars, but I was taken to the jail to wait for my mom.

I would have preferred the jail time.

The next time it happened (age 20) I just got a ticket and was told to go home.

I'm just too smart to get caught! Ha...just kidding. Nope. Clean record. Good thing, too, because I don't think they would let me teach otherwise!

not arrested but my mom had to pick me up at the police station....

I was 16, and had just finished the tests at school...so I was wearing my uniform...we went to the beach, it was 10 in the morning...but I was with my boyfriend, talking, laughing, nothing x-rated, kwim....but the good officers thought that I was skeeping classes, so they took me to the police station, called my mom, later I was grounded and had trust issues with her for years...#endofmylife lol

nope..
I hope I can say that for always..
certainly not on my to do list...lol.

Never arrested. But when I was in college I was "parking" with my boyfriend and a cop knocked on the car window to make sure I was consenting and tell us to move our vehicle.

Bwahahaha! I was about to say I've never had a run-in with the cops, but... thanks for the reminder! I must have buried that deep in my memories. I was mortified! My boyfriend (now husband) and I were totally making out in our small-town CHURCH parking lot & a cop busted us. The kicker? My dad is a pastor there! Soooo embarrassed!!

I've never been arrested but a cop scared me pretty good when I was a kid. One of my friends lived about two houses down from the town police station. A boy dared me to look into a window so I climbed up a ledge, opened the window and was just about to peek in when an officer started yelling at me. When I turned around to look, all my friends had run off and I just stood there crying. I'm lucky he didn't call my parents!

Man, learning a lot about the girls tonight!!

Never arrested, had the police turn up a couple of times at our uni house to tell us to keep down the noise (I cringe when I think of the noisy hell we put the neighbors through that year). Luckily they didn't go into the house as a few guests usually had some interesting cigarettes happening...(not me the smell made me sick).

I was in a group of kids who were caught shoplifting in our local town, only the school found out about it though - much grounding happenning. Oddly enough, the ringleader was sent to another school but her mother insisted on telling everyone it was so her daughter could associate with a better class of people (yes, she actually repeatedly stated this). The mother wasn't very popular for quite a few years..

Never arrested but I did get my license suspended last year....not entirelyt fault but mortifying anyway lol.

Nope. That is one of my big fears too. That and being committed. Yikes.

My mom was arrested and had to spend a night in jail when I was in fifth grade. She had a bunch of unpaid speeding tickets and then got into a fender bender. She had a warrant out for her arrest. I remember my dad coming to the house and staying with my brother and I for the evening. He let us watch the Exorcist, so I knew that something crazy was going on. :/

Lord no. I can't even leave my grocery cart in the middle of the parking lot after I shop. :giggle

My husband, however, had a REALLY good time in college. :whistle

I married a deviant. One of us has to be good, right?

I first read this as "I married a dentist..." and thought to myself, "I was unaware dentists were that criminally inclined..."

deviant makes marginally more sense...

Uh huh...that's what they all say :giggle

LOL!!!! I swear it was... LOL!!!! I am glad I was still skinny and super hot and just gave my innocent look to the transit guy and paid my FEES ... and it all disappeared... or at least I think it did.
