What!?!? You can't just say that and not tell the story! The book starts here!
I've never been arrested, but I did get caught shoplifting as a kid. I was with some friends and they were doing... blah blah blah. I was terrified! I never did it again for sure! The worst part was having to call my Mom and Dad.
Never arrested. But when I was in college I was "parking" with my boyfriend and a cop knocked on the car window to make sure I was consenting and tell us to move our vehicle.
I've never been arrested, but my brother was arrested and had to be bailed out on the day of my wedding rehearsal. Yeah. That was fun. The punched face really improved the wedding pictures the next day. (someone really needs to come up with a sarcasm font or a sarcastic smiley)
Hmmm, I wonder if I should really tell my story here or not...but I am going to anyway. I was 21 at the time and working at a travel agent. We were on a FAM trip to London which is a familiarization trip to learn all about different places so you can come back and sell it. Anyway, we also had the opportunity to go out at night and eat, drink, and dance, etc. This was when I learned about cider. It was so smooth going down, but it kicked your butt later. Anyway, I got quite tipsy and blacked and fell down a flight of stairs. Once they got me to come around they put me in a taxi by myself back to my hotel. (I begged someone to come with me you know foreign city and all) Well, I puked in the taxi and he called the police so I was taken to a holding cell. they do not call and talk to people in rooms at the hotels there instead they post messages on the tvs about what is going on. So, luckily my roommate turned on our tv and saw that I was in jail. They came and got me and I made it back home. I can laugh about it today. But it was one scary situation back then. Of course, when I got home and saw my Mom and Dad and had this big scab on my nose and knowing I had to tell them what happened. That was hard and it also reminded me that I did not ever want to drink for a LONG time.
Never...but my BFF and I did get pulled over driving my Mom's station wagon while underage by ourselves. Luckily it was just a tail light out and the cop didn't ask for ID!
Never, although I did have to go to court because my car was unregistered or something like that? And I made a deal with the DA there to serve community hours. In the library.
Never been arrested. The closest came when I was 15 and had just started driving. Our family's minivan had tinted windows in the back because my little sister has albinism and the bright sun would bother her eyes. So it was night and I was leaving a friends house and backed up into this old beater of a car (those windows made it impossible to see out of at night). I thought I had only nicked it (it was dark out) but turns out I had left a pretty good dent in their rear door. Well, I left and went home w/out trying to notify someone of what I had done and the cops showed up at my house an hour later. So I explained what happened - and of course my family's insurance covered the ding - learned a good lesson that night about not leaving the scene of an accident. LOL
