TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

Friday!!! Yipeeeee!! It's been a jam-packed week and I am glad the weekend is here. What are your plans? Is your weekend scheduled with activities or will you get some R&R?

Tonight, I am going crop with a friend. We've been friends for about a year but I didn't know she was a scrapper until this week. Huh!? Not sure how that happened! LOL Anyways, she got us seats at Archivers tonight, so I'll be working away on my Project Life.

Tomorrow, my youngest is in a parade with her Daisy troop. Then, I'm taking my oldest shopping for a homecoming dress. Fingers crossed that we find something she loves that doesn't make my DH want to cover her with a blanket. It's tricky, people! DH and I have a double date with some friends, so I am definitely looking forward to a grown up dinner and relaxing night on Saturday. Sunday is church and DD2 has cheerleading. Now that I type all that up, it doesn't sound very relaxing, but hopefully it will be!

DH is on call..so just typical errands and yard work. Hoping that I can set aside some time for PL. And probably watch some football with DH (Bears/Vikings game on Sunday for sure!).

Ive had the plasterers in for the last 2 weeks so my weekend will consist of cleaning up the mess from it and painting every where, thrilling weekend for us

Tomorrow evening is this year's planning/kick-off meeting for DD's Girl Scout troop. Also tomorrow, DH and DS are having friends over for D&D, so DD and I may make ourselves scarce and do some shopping or something for a big chunk of that.

I'm sure I'll also be up to my eyeballs in confusion as I try to learn my way around the new iPhone 4S DH surprised me with this week. Just a little different than my ancient flip phone, which really didn't flip anymore - more like groan and creak. :p I've been saying I didn't need a fancy phone, since I never go anywhere, but we got one for DD, and DH decided I shouldn't be the only one in the family without an iPhone, so here I sit, full brain implosion. :giggle

Other than that, just catching up on housework, a little design work, and hopefully lots of sleep! :)

How fun! I don't have any IRL friends who scrap :(.

This weekend is not too busy for us... Football game tonight. Cross Country meet tomorrow. Dinner w/ DH tomorrow night. Church Sunday. Yard work. House work. And Scrapping! Gotta squeeze that in.

Tonight is BUNCO night! Ok, I have no idea how to play bunco, but they told me not to worry that by the 2nd round nobody knows either... LOL!!!!
I need to go shopping for Bianca's choir pants, yay fun! (NOT!)

It's PeeWee night at the high school game so we're going to football tonight and then hoping I can convince my hubby to hang pictures tomorrow so we'll be completely moved! Sunday we're sleeping in and then the girls and I are going to the park probably to enjoy our fall weather!

My boys have an ice cream social at their school tonight and the rest of the weekend is pretty much unplanned. I have to take my oldest for a haircut, but that's about it. My DH is out of town for work still, so it'll be quiet unless he's able to sneak away and visit for a little bit.

Dalis - have fun with Bunco. We've got it. We've only had a few game nights with it and had fun but I'll have to look at the directions again if we play soon b/c I forget exactly how it goes. I know we had stations set up for teams to play and then the winners had to play the other winners. So the losers got a break until the next round and they could go have some munchies/drinks and socialize for a bit before having to jump back into the game.

Laura - ha ha...can't believe you didn't know your friend is a scrapper. I try to work it into the convo when I meet people to see if they are a) photographer or enthusiast (so we can have camera play dates) or b) scrapper (so we can talk obsessively about it and maybe get together for a scrap day).

I've got wedding editing to do all wkend so I can deliver the pkg to the client on Sunday night. I have a feeling I won't be getting much else done. Thank goodness for batch editing LOL.

Just one run and a soccer game, and week 2 of puppy training at Petsmart. I might paint if I get bored but I'm not holding my breath.

We have our first soccer game tomorrow and church, family dinner and small group on Sunday. The rest will be the normal laundry and cleaning and hanging out with the family. Micah is off for the first time since way back the middle of August, so the boys will enjoy time with him. We taught our 7 yr olds Mexican train dominoes last week so I am hoping for some more dominoes!

Just finishing up leading a leadership retreat, and ready to see my family and spend time at our weekend "home" - going to be a great "fall" feeling weekend - great for fires under a blanket!

Well, now that the weekend is over, I'm finally having time to check in here. We had a wedding we were helping with this weekend. We went to the rehearsal dinner Friday night and then after my youngest's soccer game we raced home to get dressed and then went to the wedding. It was at an old Farm converted for weddings, so the wedding was outside and the reception was outside/inside the barn. SO cool! :) Today was the first day of Sunday School (I try to teach) and then church. I may or may not have taken a nap too. :giggle

Karen - I love shooting outdoor weddings! I have yet to shoot a barn wedding. Hope to some day. All that rustic old wood and texture against a pretty bridal party....makes my heart swoon!
