Pad Patter 6/23 - I Scream for Ice Cream

chocolate peanut butter . . . I've been toying with the idea of getting an ice cream maker to make our own this summer!
 
Usually coffee is my fave, but sometimes I like regular old vanilla or chocolate.
 
Looooove ice creams! Any flavour would do but good ol chocolate rules... And a special call out for Haagen daaz vanilla almond ... Can have it anytime!!
 
DALIS?? I need your recipe for the vita blender, but I just for the first time had Pistachio Almond...and I could gain all 80 pounds back due to that fabulous taste!
 
Blue Bell's (regional brand?) Cookie Dough or Mint Chocolate Chip! Yum! :)

Ready to take note? A lot of measuring going on.

1. Cover your blades (blender) with un-sweeten coconut milk. (1 part)
2. Depending on the fruit more sour fruits need more than other, add sugar (raw sugar, honey, stevia, what ever you use) to taste.
3. Add 3 parts frozen fruit.
4. Use the tamper device to make the frozen fruit hit the blades. (Don't be afraid).
5. Blend until 4 mounds form.

THAT'S IT!

My favorite is Coconut milk, frozen pineapple and a SLIVER (you can almost see through) of ginger and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon.
 
I just had coconut ice cream with chocolate covered almost mixed in it!

Yup, it's a Southern thing. It used to just be a Texas thing, but they've expanded. I grew up in Florida but my parents are Texan, and getting Blue Bell was one of the big perks of visiting my TX relatives! Now it's available in FL too, but now I live in Europe, so.... LOL oh well.

I love all ice creams. And Froyo.

And really anything with sugar in it.
 
My favorite is Mint Chocolate Chip, but yeah... I'm like Angie. Anything sweet will do. :)
 
Ice cream isn't my thing. But, if faced with a craving (like three times a year) I want chocolate almond.
 
My very favorite ice cream will always be Baskin-Robbins Peanut Butter Chocolate. Or maybe real Italian gelatto! Both are hard to pass up...:drool
 
Anything with peanut butter for this girl! I liv for peanut butter like most live for chocolate! :-)
