My 65yo father has a fb account. But he's rarely online.

So I was greatly surprised when he liked my layout abt him & my bro. My step-sister must hv mentioned it to him. So I waited ... expecting him to like the layout of him & ME.

15 mins past ... no like
20 mins past ... no like
30 mins past ... no like

I cannot wait no more. So I text my 15yo step-sister. To tell him to like MY page.

Again ...
15 mins past ... no response
20 mins past ... no response
30 mins past ... no response

So I had no choice but to text my old ole dad.

Once Again ...
15 mins past ... no response
20 mins past ... no response

Then I got a peep in my fb (cos I. Am. Still. Online.) And I saw this.

I. Saw. It. He also liked the page I did for The DigiDare.

So being the good daughter I am, I text him a BIG thank you. In CAPS. :giggle And yes, he replied "No problem".

This just made my day. Cos the weather over here is getting worse. Not only is it hot & humid. It is also super hazy. And I am having some eye irritation becos of that.

PS: Sorry for the long post :p

aw, we are forever our father's daughters, and their love and approval is desired and oh how wonderful! I talked at length with my dear dad yesterday for Father's Day here in the USA. It is indeed an honor to be loved and have them still in our lives! I smiled at the love in your family.
May the day be clear and the heat break!

LOL! This is a cute story! Good job dad for finally liking one! ;0)

So sweet, Agnes! Yay for dad! :) Hope that haze clears off soon!

Too cute!!! You are still daddy's little girl! and it's totally adorable!

LOL Agnes, you make my days girl...I can't help but keep smiling.

My dad is 85 and has now a Facebook account... he knows more about Sarita's Facebook posts than I do LOL

Yes, I am grateful that I have a close relationship w/my father despite the downs I've put him thru.

Altho I dun hate my ex-husband, I am glad that he had left an impression on my ds. Cos up till now, my ds still knows & remembers that he has a father. Just not the name & face *twisted evil laugh* You see, I am not a baby-person. I'm more the toddler-person. So since birth to 3yo, his father was the main care-giver. So the bond is formed there & then.

That is so sweet! I loved reading your long story! :)
