So, this week while doing some early Spring Cleaning, I went through piles of old bills, junk mail, and other papers that had our information on it and shredded what felt like a ton of paper. I did this at my office because we have a huge shredder. DH and I are going shopping today to buy a shredder so we can start shredding on-the-fly instead of waiting for a pile.

What does your family do with all the paperwork that comes into your home? Doesn't it feel that there's alot of junk mail still coming in?

We always have a ton of junk mail - especially those credit card mailings saying "you qualify for xyz". I just toss everything in the trash - because I am too lazy to shred it.

We have a shredder..but honestly the paperwork still piles up. That and laundry are my biggest organizational issues.

We shred anything and everything. Very paranoid about identity theft.

We are semi-paperless and we scan and shred. My Fujitsu Scansnap is one of my best purchases EVER. Makes scanning documents painless.

as victims of identity theft we cross cut shred absolutely everything. i never want to deal with that stress or incredible mess ever again.

This is us. We don't put anything in the garbage that has our name and address on it - even just envelopes. So our shredder gets filled once a week

Because DH is on Medicare we get a ton of junk mail like on a daily basis. We shred b/c all of it has his name and address and a barcode so we shred. I try to be cautious so we don't get into the whole identity theft thing.

I've often thought of getting a shredder... I really really despise throwing things out that have my name and address details on it... and burning it in the fire in the middle of summer is a total drag!

And imagine shoving pretty papers through it to make your own padding for gifts etc... that would be so cool...

I save our bills for awhile & then I burn them in the fireplace. There's something VERY fun about though. You throw a pile in, close the door really quick & hear it go WHOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!
