Is any one else taking the Finding Photo Freedom class that starts tomorrow?

It is Stacy Julian's class at Big Picture Classes. I've heard raves for years how it can improve your creativity, get your stories told and breakthrough backlogs. Lightroom tells me I have 54,390 photographs and scans (heritage and pre-digital photos). I need all the help I can get. :)

I took it the last time she offered it in 2011 and it totally changed things for me! Loved it!! I was tempted to take it again this time around, but I think I just need to focus on DOING the things we learned in the class, rather than taking it again :)

I took it several years ago too and agree it changed things for me too. I no longer feel any need for chronology. I scrap what subject catches my eye. By tagging my photos it is much easier to find things . I would recommend it.

i doubt i'll pay $80 for the class, but i am considering buying the ebook for $15. it looks like i can add it to my kindle and read it on there. could be an idea for those, like me, who are feeling a budget squeeze right now.

I'm considering teh book, too. I love the idea. Jennifer WIlson at Simple Scrapper posted this article about how she's incorporating LOM with PL, and it makes soooo much sense!

I did this years ago as well. LOVED it, but never really implemented it. Primarily b/c I went "digital" and it seemed that it was geared for paper scrappers, at least then. I wonder if it'd be more digi friendly now... cuz I ain't going back to adhesive and scissors, LOL.

Jen, it's geared to both paper and digi scrappers, although many of the systems that she has and teaches work better for traditional scrappers. There's was lot of chatter between the digital scrappers about how to adapt certain things to digi, and I imagine there will be more of that this time around because the digital community seems to be growing.
