We have the What do you struggle with? discussion going on, so now I would love to know what you think your strengths are on your pages. This way, those of us that are feeling like we are less than perfect in one area can glean a little inspiration off of each other's galleries.

I think my biggest strength is words. I write on almost every page. The words may not be well thought out with perfect grammar, but they are there (and sometimes almost fill the entire page). I love putting my thoughts down on paper, and in a way, my scrapbook pages are my own personal journal, where I put down what's in my heart, my thoughts and feelings, hopes and fears, and reflections.

I know I have issues sometimes in seeing my strengths, which is another reason I started this thread. I think it's good thing to look at ourselves and say "Hey, I kinda rock at this." So what do you rock at? I'd love to know!

I love a deadline and a challenge. I see scrapping like a video game, something to conquer, and I like to move up levels! I can buy a kit and it will sit on my EHD for eternity, but give me a deadline and my mojo goes all happy and flows! Time crunch pages are my favorite. I also love to have humor come out on pages, I want them to feel like it did when the photo was taken, to let the person looking at it feel the moment? kwim?

I'm always happy with my journaling. And I do clean pages pretty well.

I think one of my biggest strengths is that I normally have tons of pictures, so I usually have lots of ideas and mojo!

my strength is probably scrapping the "little things" in a profound way... or silly way, depending the background of the moment.

my weakness is clean and simple... I just can't do it, I try and try and I don't know when to stop....
second weakness: English is my second language so my grammar is TERRIBLE, as you can see in this short post. LOL!!!!

Anne, I'm with you! I love a deadline. Nothing gets me doing anything better than having a deadline.

Jenny, thank you so much! I love doing photoless pages. Or at least I should say, I've never let a lack of photos keep me from telling a story I want to tell. You do such awesome white space layouts. I used to be horrible at them, but I've been practicing for a few years now and I occasionally turn out a white space layout that I absolutely love. It was a goal of mine to figure out how to do them, because I loved the look so much!

Kelley, I have tons of photos, as well. Unfortunately I have a couple of years where I lost everything. Totally makes me sad. I do wish I were a better photographer though. I'm really trying to be more aware of composition and surroundings which I think helps a little.

Dalis, you are the queen of scrapping the everyday. One of my favorite things to scrapbook too (lol i'm pretty sure you knew this about me though). You do it in such a unique way though, and I love looking at your pages, always have.

I don't think I have one. Unless it's "having all the stuff". LOL

I'd say that journaling is a strength in that I don't freak out about saying just the right thing, I just write (type) what I remember and get the details captured before my poor old forgetful brain loses it all. Also, I can jam pictures on a page like no one's business! :) I'm always trying to get just one more squeezed in, especially on vacation pages. :)

Interesting thread. I can rock a template and make it mine. :) I'd say better than 95% of my layouts use templates in some form. I <3 templates!

LOL there's definitely something to be said for that but you seriously rock the AAM pages. I wish I were better at getting pages about me done.

Karen, that's how I am. If I started freaking out about what I was saying I would be paralyzed. I love that you use so many photos on a page. As a paper scrapper I used to use a ton of picture on every layout (and a lot of them were two pagers) but as a digi scrapper I do a whole lot of one photo layouts.

I'm not sure what's my strength is!! :(

Maybe that's because you have so many of them! I seriously love, love, love your gallery Li Li. You have such a fun, quirky style on your layouts and I just love looking through your gallery.

Aww, thanks. I feel guilty when I do those, because I'm not scrapping my FIVE CHILDREN. lol

Thanks Sarah.. you made my day :) . I have never see it the way you see it.. I do think my gallery is kinda weird sometimes..

I'm a great writer. I always get the most compliments on my photoless pages with lots and lots o' journaling.

I've been digitally scrapping for the last 10 years and just NOW hitting my stride, so graphic design/composition is definitely not a strength of mine! :giggle
