I just have to share this with you. (From my FB post this am)

Nathaniel and Jude came into our room this morning with big grins inviting us to come have breakfast. We were oblivious to everything that went on that morning. "We know you are feeling sick mom, so we wanted to do something for you. And dad, we want to thank you for all your hard work in taking care of the family", Nate said. "I made breakfast, got Jude and myself dressed up for church and even put gel in our hair to look nice!"
I looked over the boys. Jude had shorts on (it's December in Montreal) a rock band t-shirt and a checkered shirt with badly greased down hair. Nathaniel was a replicate with jeans. "Get up! Get up! Come and see!", Nate insisted.
I was just getting over the second round of stomach flu from the night before and breakfast was not on my mind, but how could I resist this kind of invitation. We got up, got dressed and made our way to the kitchen. The table was set with my grandmother's hand embroidered tablecloth. The utensils were placed in the right order and we each had a serving of scrambled eggs, a hamburger bun, carrots and almond milk.
Me: "Wow!! You did this all by yourselves?"
Nate: Yes!
Jude: Well, Nathaniel did most of it. All I did was talk.
Dad: "Thanks guys! This is amazing! Wow! I'm impressed!
Jude: "If we are servants on earth we will be KINGS in heaven!"
We had church at home this morning because of sickness, but I can say that this was one of the most blessed mornings of the year. What better way to experience God's love than to see it lived out in our children.
