We are finally more or less back to normal, but this was TOUGH!

We did... 3 out of 5 of us, so far the girls are ok... Mark and Isaac had it yesterday and Asher has it now and is the worst off of the bunch... we're coming home tomorrow and I'm praying hard that Moriah and I don't get it or at least hold off until we get home... BLAH!!!
 
We just sent our in-laws in a plane to Texas with more immodium, pep-cid, gas-x and peptobismol in their systems and carry-on bags that I am sure it's allowed for one person to carry. We didn't get to enjoy our last days together which is so sad, and I feel horrible that they had to leave while they were still struggling with this horrible bug!
 
Me and my son have the flu! Him since Friday, me since Sunday. Just because I have the flu doesnt mean I can actually rest so it's still haunting me. Xmas Eve and Xmas was the worst for my little guy. Today was the first day he was up, he put together one of his new lego sets, then the fever, puking and chills came back so he's been in bed asleep for an hour :( Not sure this counts as the Xmas stomach bug as it started last Friday and is the flu LOL

Oh Carly, I am so sorry your little guy is all sick and that you are sick too. The worse thing is to be sick when your little one is sick. Hopefully you will feel better really soon. Did you guys take the tamiflu?

Heather, they started going down ONE by ONE with the last two last night. I am stil waiting to hear if they made it to TX without any "incidents" or "accidents".
 
No. My son was feeling icky starting Weds. Dr said it was to late when we went Xmas eve. By then it was in full effect.

Dalis, I just love your signature! So far we have been lucky - many of our friends are sick, but we haven't had it yet. Hopefully, the flu shots we got in the fall will protect us from this horrible bug.
 
I'm hoping that I lucked out this year. :: knock wood ::

There have been very few Christmases that I've escaped without illness, but so far so good.

Last year I got hit with the stomach flu over New Year's, though, so I'm not out of the woods yet.
 
DH got sick the day after Thanksgiving. I got sick the first week of December...and I'm still sick. :( 10mo DS is sick got sick Christmas day. Whoopee. Hopefully his cold doesn't last 3 weeks! And my mom came down from Michigan Christmas night, so I'm hoping she doesn't get sick too.
 
Well, no stomach bug but my sister (bderby) was here for Christmas and her two boys both had the flu (the respiratory/fever kind) and she woke up sick this morning so they've headed home early. The rest of us have had flu shots so hopefully we won't catch it, but there's been a whole lot of disinfecting going on.
 
I am going on week 3 of being sick...and I NEVER get sick. :( I was diagnosed yesterday with Influenza A. I have had a cold bug for like 2 weeks, ear infection, etc...and now the actual flu (fever, chills, achy, cough, tired, etc...) There has been alot of it going around here where I live - they say it is spiking way earlier than normal. Apparently they guess every year at the flu shot and which one will be needed, and the flu shot was mostly for Influenza B, and the Infuenza A is what has been going around. Just getting back to my computer today after holiday stuff and not feeling well. Hoping I am on tail end of it now! They pit me on Tamiflu which is supposed to help shorten and lessen the flu!
 
No stomach bugs here, but I've been sick with a nasty cold for the past 2 weeks also that just doesn't want to go away...I think it is trying to kill me! I just hope I don't end up with the flu on top of it since that seems to be running rampant this year. I hope the Tamiflu helps you a bunch Amanda!!
 
Must be a northern hemisphere thing because everyone is healthy here .... sorry you guys have all been sick :(
