I asked this question a year ago, how many scrapping styles are there? And what is your style? Have you ever venture into other styles? I don't have a name for my style.. or shall I say my styles?

i honestly don't know. i don't know what the names are for all the different categories. plus, sometimes i do more traditional could-be-done-with-paper-even-though-it's-digi, and sometimes i do more of an art journal approach, and every so often i'll do something that just couldn't be pulled off with paper. so i dunno.

i do know that i tend to use multiple photos, my photos tend to be centrally located and clustered, and i like big bold title work. everything else i guess is fair game.

Once upon a time I thought of style as something a little more static, with specific boxes (traditional paper scrappy style here, art journal scrappy style over there) but over time I have found discovered that scrapping "style" is really an individual and subjective thing. And it takes time, as we explore our interests, or grow in our program skills, or try new things, or have fresh focuses to really settle in to our own comfy creative sweater. And then it may evolve even more. It certainly has for me.

My personal scrappy style today is: story centric, papery, linear, strong composition based, needs balance of white space, photo centric with lots of little details.

My style is all over the map and as eclectic as my musical taste (Beethoven to Ozzy and everything in between). :) I like to experiment!

I think my style falls more in line with the paper scrap style. I love clean lines but also love what paint and brushes add to my layouts. I am pretty much a template scrapper and I always go for the templates that have clean lines and not a lot of cluster or layers, although I am far from a minimalist scrapper LOL. So basically...... I have no clue what my style is LOL!

i am a habitual template user, but haven't been able to adapt to the idea of less/smaller pictures in exchange for design..I like the pictures to be the main focal point, and don't want the embelishments to pull all the attention. I often size up templates to fill a page or make the pictures bigger. I just haven't been able to really achieve the right balance thus far, so I tend to under embellish. I'm still growing. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be super into the art journalling style! Lol

I think in the past I've called my style "clustered white space". I have a lot of emptiness with small clusters of elements

hmmm I like clean pages but recently I have been going a bit more "busy" on my pages ... I blame the BYOC for that because there is so much good stuff that I want to use it all on one page ROFL

I don't know that I have a style, I think I'm pretty eclectic and am a moody scrapper, meaning my layout reflects my mood but I often am inspired by the kit(s) I'm working with or the story I'm trying to tell or the therapy I'm needing

From the visual perspective, I scrap in several different styles ... minimal and clean, minimal and random, but I also can do some full page designs too.

There is another way you can look at style, besides the visual style of the page. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's along the lines of: what style of story do you tend to tell with your layout? Some categories might be: storytelling/documentation of events; storytelling/snippets of everyday life; emotions; or some people might have more of a historical style; and we can also scrap just to show off our photos. I think most of my scrapping, no matter the visual design, has a storytelling style focusing on everyday life and events/holidays.

My style is my own it's called - Psychotically Packed LOL

ROFL, yes, but you do it SO WELL!

Looking at my recent gallery entries? Um, I'd have to call it "intense". I'm not similiar at all to Carly's style, but right now I seem to like BIG, LOUD, and INTENSE colors and photographs. It's kinda overwhelming to look at right now. eeep!

i'm not quite sure... hard question!!
but to sum it up somehow:

i usually scrap with white space like this

or
worn_-love_-etc.jpg

and

i LOVE the look of pages i do like this:

aaaand i'm kinda scared of making pages like this, but after an intense mental battle i usually end up loving the results ;)

i love art journaling too and have taken several classes, but it makes me think a lot and *NEED* a lot of time for my self to complete it :)

"all over the place". Yep, that's my style :giggle
I do clean pages and then more funky ones, it really depends on the mood and it can vary so much from one page to another but I always keep something close to paper scrap like (I'm not saying I do it good, I just tend to have low shadows and stuff like that). I don't like too much things flying over my page, I need something realistic but again, I'm all over the place so from time to time I have a butterfly hovering on my page or stuff like that. :whistle
