hmm.. Just wanna trash out my nervousness, excitement and self doubts... Recently I have been offered a job that will requires me to leave home , it's in another state in Malaysia (one can only go there by plane) .. I have never worked away from home for a long time and this job will require me to be there for long.. Actually, I have been wanting this opportunity for the longest time.. but I think I'm getting cold feet.. all this voices of self doubt is coming up!! I don't know if I will be good at it..

This is my job scope :
Your main role will be to manage the sales and front of house staff. You will be given freedom to implement customer service and sales systems, hire and fire, train, overseeing daily activities, and etc.

Sounds freaking challenging.. and as the day is getting closer.. I am nervous and feel like I wanna take the chicken exit.. and I'm afraid I will miss home and most of all less time for scrapping!!

What will you do if you are in my shoes? :dizzy

I think I would take it... a new adventure! At first, the homesickness might be bad, but you'll find ways to handle it.

Good luck!!

Thanks sweetie!! I hope I will get to pull this through!!

The same weekend I graduated from college I took off in airplane (my first time ever) and traveled 1250 miles from home for a job. It was a little difficult at first just adjusting to not having my parents nearby, but I loved my job, loved my coworkers, and everything ended up ok. I'm no longer in that line of work, but wouldn't trade my experiences for anything.

It's perfectly normal to have cold feet. I was scared to death. But in the end the experience and bit of adventure were so good for me.

OH!! wanna know what type of organization I'm working for? A FREAKING FITNESS CENTER (and if you look at me, I am no where near FIT)

I agree! You will always wonder what would have happened if you choose not to. Good luck!!

I've only ever been to KK & it's a nice place. Joelsgirl was there for a few years & she enjoyed it, I think :) Which state are you from? btw, this fitness place won't happen to be owned by Wu Chun, would it?
