Where do you shop?

For years I've just had a Rhapsody subscription. $14.99/month for all the music I wanted to put on my mp3 player. But they were just "rented", so every 2 weeks I had to plug it back in to sync it and whatnot.

I've finally moved up in the world and got an iPod, which doesn't work with Rhapsody, so I can finally ditch payin $14.99 a month, butttt I don't own any music.

I had an Amazon gift card laying around so I used that for a few, and I have a couple dollars in my iTunes account, so I can at least get started, but... I'm wondering if there's a better way. I like Amazon better since their songs are all mostly .99, compared to iTunes $1.29.

But I can't be running a marathon with 10 songs replaying over and over, so I'm going to have to pony up and buy some music. lol

I use Amazon and iTunes. I have to REALLY want the song to pay more than .99. I tend to browse the .69 songs on iTunes the most and i watch my FB newsfeed often because sometimes Amazon will do the free 2.00 mp3 credit. Some of the coupon sites I like announce it, otherwise, I would never know.

I only shop itunes. Had no idea Amazon sold music, though it shouldn't be to much of a surprise to me since they sell everything else. How does buying music on Amazon work with the apple products? I thought you could only buy through itunes.

Sadly I don't buy music. The only songs on my phone are the kids' music! LOL When I am in the car alone, I listen to silence...which I really enjoy!! I do have an iTunes libary but most of that stuff was old CDs that DH converted over to the correct format.

I know that DH bought an app for a few $ and he can download songs...not sure what it is though.

I just buy it, download it, put it in my music folder, and then double click it to have it play in iTunes and it adds it to my library. I'm sure there is an easier way, but that's how I do it. :)

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but if you download their little downloading tool, you can tell it to go to iTunes and it just shows up there automatically when you download it. Handy!

I KNEW there had to be an easier way! Thanks, Angie!

The nice thing about Amazon is that they have monthly $5 and $2.99 album deals, and there are usually a few things I would consider buying (of course I don't though...i'd rather spend my $$$ on digi goodies..lol). Of course, I don't know anything about iTunes at all, so they may have similar deals.

I am an itunes girl, but I don't even have an "i" anything. I just buy for my hubby and son....LOL!
