TGIF...What's up this weekend?

It's Friday :thumbsups whew

What a long week here. First full week of school and the babies started preschool, first week of lacrosse and football (yup..I live at a field of some sort every night of the week). Colin actually started football at the beginning of August but this was the first week of having both boys in sports :dizzy
They love it though. We are firm believers of keeping boys busy, it keeps them out of trouble (for the most part). Thankfully since we moved B has much less travel so he's able to help with some the running around.

We are going low key tonight, pizza and a movie and hopegfully early bed all around. We have a football game bright and early in the morning and not much else planned for the rest of the weekend. I think we are going to hit the farmers market downtown on Sunday, the weather is starting to cool off a bit so that's good.

My film camera came in today!!! :yesss I hope to have some time to play with that this weekend as well. I ordered a few rolls of film so we will see how that goes!

What is everyone up to this weekend?
 
DD is sick and I'm sad we missed the first homeschool program of the year at the local library today..we've been going for three years now and it's really hard to miss the first one after summer break.

Hopefully taking it easy tomorrow, and really hoping that DD is well for horseback riding and scouts on Sunday.

Oh and how cool about the film camera...new toys are always fun!

I'm hoping to get tons of scrapping done! I'm home alone tonight (yay!) and tomorrow I will probably be here alone with the hubs.

I have had nothing going on forever. I'm so excited I am trying to get a volunteer job at the Humane League and I have my orientation tomorrow. So nice to have somewhere to be! I really hope I get to work with the puppies and kitties soon!

Tonight was low key. We watched a Curious George movie on Netflix, I went for a run and dinner of soup and grilled cheese was a huge hit with the kids. Tomorrow morning we have to be home between 8am and noon to wait for our new cable provider to come. It's worth it to save $50/month!! Then tomorrow night is a huge fundraising art auction/gala for work so I'm working from about 3pm until mightnight/1am. Then maybe out for a drink with girls from work. Needless to say, Sunday will be a day for recovery! And I'm off of work on Monday so my plan is to get some scrapping done while I enjoy the peace and quiet of an empty house.

Sarah, I hope your DD is feeling better soon!

Kelly, how fun for a film camera! That's awesome.

We have a busy weekend! Tomorrow morning bright and early we have a football game, then a soccer game, two swim practices and then another football game. And then my oldest has a birthday party.

Sunday morning my hubby is running a marathon. And hoping for a Boston Qualifying time (3:05 - 3:10). He has worked so hard training for it so I really hope he gets it. He's running another one in three weeks so he'll have another shot. He's a crazy runner like Angie. I should get them together. LOL
 
I seem to recall that Angie likes to run with hot guys, right?

My daughter is in for the weekend so I'm hosting a big family bar-b-que tomorrow night. Tonight I'm hoping to watch another CS tutorial. I feel like I'm learning all over again.

We are supposed to have a soccer game at 8:30 in the morning, but it has rained all day and supposed to rain most of the night, so I guess we will see how much rain the fields can hold. Other than that, we have dinner with some family/friends tomorrow night...and I plan on doing laundry and a bit of cleaning, but only a 'bit' because I am dying to sit down and scrap a page from start to finish!
