It's Monday! What's happening?

The start of a fresh week! What's on your agenda?

I'm rushing out the door already this morning, so I will be back later to tell you all of the (not) exciting things I have planned, so tell me about your week instead.

Is it autumn weather yet where you are? Or still hot?

here in Brazil is still winter yet is so HOT!!! omg , hate the weather here lol.
Besides that, I have nothing planned actually. We'll have a birthday party to attend this evening but I'll go only with the kids because DH will work until late tonight and tomorrow as well. Other than that is just work work work for me!! :)

This week I'm hoping things get back to normal. I babysit, and they didn't bring me the kids last week, so I made no money. GRRRRR.
Both of them were/are here today (one is in school), so the week looks promising. The good thing about not having to take care of the smaller one last week was getting the house back in order for the most part after summer! I'm trying to be good and get the weekend laundry done this morning so I have a clean house when Dusty gets home from work. :)

I hope you get your running done stress free, Laura!

ETA: It was chilly this morning, but it's going to get back up to 93, so it's not quite feeling fall-ish yet.

Nothing big going on here this week. Hoping to get back on track after a really not so great week last week. We do have the first meeting of the new year of our monthly homeschool program on Friday that I'm really looking forward to.

Nothing other then the norm for this girl... work, home, family... and hopefully some scrappin' in between! :thumbsups

Here in Wisconsin, the temps are bit coooler... 70's & 80's; very comfortable. So we are heading towards Fall here, which I'm looking forward to. I so luv the beauty, scent and slower pace of Autumn.

It is cooler today, but I'm not sure if it's staying this way? Hope so, running yesterday was like HEAVEN. Except for when it started to suck at mile 9 but that wasn't the weather's fault. LOL

Not much going on this week. Just dropped my van off at the shop to finally get the air fixed and a couple tires replaced. Having lunch with my girlfriends today.

Wednesday my little one has his psych check up, going to ask about an adjustment to his meds as he's not having a good school year thus far.

My students are running a 10 mile race in BFE on Saturday, so I'll be out there to cheer them on for that.

That's about it! My last 20 mile run before the fall marathons has to happen at some point this week. Thinking maybe Friday so I can be done with it and have my weekend to have fun!

Well, Rick is officially released for work today by his doctor. That doesn't mean he'll be capable of doing the physical work though. Our insurance is about ready to expire, so we really need him to go to work and build up his hour bank. Money would be good too!! He is sick today though...started yesterday and even though it's just a cold, he said he hasn't been this sick in years. Oh well...I guess it's not supposed to happen yet! I'm just really happy we're even getting to think about him working again after all he's been through this year!

For me? I know I have things to do...but I feel like being lazy again today!

It's still hot here, and we had a rain storm yesterday, and it's still terribly humid outside. This is strange weather for here. Normally, it's still very hot in the daytime here through October...heck... It can be in the 80's during the days in December! I really enjoyed the cooler weather up in Seattle last week, even though it was warm weather for them! I wore a sweater the whole time! Lovely!!

Thanks to the cold front that came through Friday night, we're now in that cool-in-the-morning/hot-in-the-afternoon stage. The relief from the heat is nice, but it makes DD's dressing for school tricky. A hoodie takes care of the top, but the jeans/shorts thing becomes a choice between being cold while waiting for the bus and outside for morning P.E., or sweating for noon recess and the bus ride home.

On the calendar this week... DD is made it through the primary elections at school and is running for treasurer, so there is a parent meeting about that after school today and there will be lots of homework throughout the week for her to prepare her campaign. She also has an honor choir audition on Tuesday. Tuesday night is the open house at DS's school. There's also a book fair going on at his school this week, which I was planning to help out with, but I haven't been able to get a hold of the coordinator, so we'll see how that works out.

It's a cool morning here....two of the boys are at school and the little one is sitting on my lap helping me do "work" on the computer! No big plans today or this week...just the usual...school for the boys, soccer practices, soccer games and a parent's meeting at school. I am hoping we can get to the apple orchard this weekend after the soccer games on Saturday too. Same life....different week! LOL

The best news of the week (thus far -- LOL!) has been finally finding a local orchard that is doing u-pick apples this season. Our regular orchard as well as a half dozen more have all said the frost wiped out their crop, and I had resigned myself to missing out on our annual tradition when someone posted a picture on FB this morning saying they'd taken their DD to pick apples this weekend. Score! It's 35 minutes away across 2 counties... but it is worth it to me. I might take Monkey this weekend if the rain holds off.

Otherwise, just regular stuff. Hubs has work + class, I have work, SS has school + football practice... b-o-r-i-n-g.

There is no such thing as autumn here, so no cool weather for us. But I'm starting to feel that intense autumn-y pull wherein I pretend it's autumn by burning candles with autumn scents and decorate the house with autumn-y tones and touches in my decor and such.

It's a busy week for us this week...mostly of the regular and routine-y variety. Meetings, Girl Scouts, Errands, Chores, Plant Your Story work. Rinse.Lather.Repeat. And we have a quick day trip to San Diego in the middle of the week for DG to have an outpatient procedure done. Hoping for a steady, productive week. :)

I hope everyone has a good week!!!

We're into fall, but having up-and-down temps --- 27C on Sunday (which was hot for my oldest son in full football gear for his first regular season game (they won against the #1 team, ours is ranked #2). Today is a high of 12C so much cooler.

This week we have Beaver Scouts starting up, Cub Scouts is starting too but my oldest has football, football and football for the next 10 weeks. Also the kids decide what they want to sign up for at school. Hoping my oldest will take Chess Club again - he learned a lot, but he really wants the Robotics club (our school has some programmable lego robotics stuff but limited to the Grade 5 and 6s because of small #s). Both are good choices and maybe he'll be able to do both.

I'm "fall cleaning" and getting our "school shelf" ready for all that spelling/Bible memory/home-reading/homework that is coming home.

It hasn't cooled down here yet. Monday is back to work! I've got a busy week this week at work with two financial review meetings. Hoping to be productive so I don't have to work extra hours. I know this is probably the most boring update ever, but it's what's happening, LOL.

lol i read that as -27C....i was like wow..not only into fall but into winter as well!!!...then I saw the bit about it being to hot for football and realized my mistake. Glad you're having cooler temps today. We're experiencing cooler temps as well in Chicagoland...it's awesome!

Oops - too funny Sarah. I didn't even think of that but considering where we live, it isn't out of the realm of possibility. hee hee

Oh it is definitely feeling like fall here today. This morning we were in the 70s which is a nice switch from triple digits. The breeze is blowing and the leaves are beginning to fall. Such a nice relief.

Nothing big planned for this week - normal stuff like grocery shopping, baseball practice and possibly a trip to the hair salon this week.

School, ballet, grout tiles
School, women's bible study
School, awanas, worship team rehearsal
School, play group, finally get to sit down
School, recover from crazy week

Welcome to our schedule through spring, except for tonights tile grouting lol

Oh yeah, it was feeling like fall this weekend but it's supposed to get hot later this week again... I'm sooooo ready for fall weather!!!

Oh... And Tomorrow the family has dentist appts... almost forgot about that lol

Oh, no! You had to burst my cool weather bubble. Just looked at the forecast and high 80s predicted for Wed. Ick!

The weather has cooled significantly here - I had to send the kids to school with fall jackets this morning. Tonight both girls are starting Tae-Kwan Do. I am still limping around with my hideousness bruised foot- but at least I am off the crutches. I am hoping to be able to run again in the next couple of weeks with this amazing running weather.

Back into the routine of work, school, homework, dinner, bed...blah!
