50 Shades of Grey! They got here in Brazil this week and of course I had to buy the first book after everyone had talked about it! I'm enjoying it but it's nothing compared to The Fever series for example. The writing is not so good and Christian Grey don't even get close to Barron's awesomeness!! :giggle
What do you think of these Shades of Grey series? Love, hate?

DH bought it for me a couple of weeks ago but I haven't started it yet.
 
i enjoyed the books but he did P*** me off by the end of it and i didnt like him at the end
 
I read all three 50 shades books in a row and by the end of the third book I just wanted him to leave the poor girl alone before she walked like a sailor for the rest of her life! They were a bit of fun though but you are right that Fever series is MUCH better written!
 
I ended up liking Christian and their relationship. But the control issues in the first book drove me batty and I got the point where I skimmed the sex scenes since there were so many of them and they got boring. But I do think Christian is hot.
 
I started the first book but dont like his controlling ways - have an ex husband that was controlling like that. Maybe that is my problem with the book. I will probably read it all the way through but not in a hurry right now.
 
Fever was waaaaay better than 50 shades. WAY BETTER!! I haven't finished shades yet, don't know why but I'm not liking it much actually. Cant get passed the 10th chapter.
 
Well, it's sad but I CANT finish this book!! LOL It was good in the beginning. I was kinda liking in fact. But when the sex scenes began I lost my interest. I mean, of course I like it but that doesn't make a good story right? I guess I'm the romantic kind. I need to see more love stories before they get to the end of it kwim? I need the girl to fall in love first and then imagine how she would be with the loved one, that kind of thing lol Besides, this book is not well written at all. I got so disappointed and I'm not sure if I will even buy the other 2 :giggle
 
I borrowed it from a friend today and I couldn't put it down. I didn't mind the writing nearly as much as I thought I would after all the reviews. I'm dying to go get the 2nd one now, lol!
 
I didn´t like it. I got to the first sex scene, then I gave up. The whole thing was kinda meh.
 
I finished the 2nd this morning and I am itching to go buy the 3rd right now. It's very hard to not jump in my car and go do it!
 
I liked the first book (since the BDSM was novel). The third book at least had a story line - although "too fairytale" of an ending. I would rate them a 6 overall.
