I finally got brave enough today to flip my camera to manual mode!!! I usually shoot in aperture priority, but I signed up to take a photography class with Katrina Kennedy in September so I was reviewing some of her posts on the Daily Digi and decided to see if I could do it. I managed to get some pretty good shots for my first try! Yay! :yesss

yay!! Look at you go. I took a photography class several years ago and it forced me to work in manual only and now I can't do it any other way. It so funny how you get used to stuff. Great shots you got. Looks like you are going to rock manual.
 
Yay! You know what they say right? Once you go manual you never go back! Great shots! I especially love the little spiky things that I can't think of the name of :P

I must be the laziest. I know how to shoot manual, but I still don't. I use AP most of the time. lol

Way to go Karen! I still struggle with manual in every day, but love it when I am concentrating on it! I have taken a few classes and things are making more sense as I go, but I still can't shoot in manual when I want a quick shot of the kids or something! It all comes in time I guess! Way to take the first step!!!
