Have you gone on some weird ones? What's the weirdest?

I think the weirdest one I ever did was the 3 day diet where you eat dry tuna on toast and green beans and a scoop of ice cream or whatever. I did lose a few pounds but OMG TORTURE. So not worth it. LOL

I've never actually done a diet where a scoop of ice cream was suggested

I still want to try that Yonanas thing from the Roku thread this week. I love banana ice cream and at least it would be SOME KIND of dessert.

Just those nasty slim fast drinks... didn't last long on those lol... and totally gained it all back right away lol... but nothing really crazy... I already have so many food intolerances... I think my regular diet is crazy enough lol

i honestly have never done a crazy diet all ive done is weight watchers and slimming world and found slimming world works for me

Nah. Just the good ol' 'let's not eat anything all day to lose weight, but oh wait, you're starving, so let's plow through a whole bag of chips around 10 pm' diet. :giggle

Years ago, I went on a diet that my mom had tried and it worked for her but after 3 days on it I was sick as a dog. It was a diet that you're on for a week, then off for a week, etc. Yea, that didn't happen and I haven't been on another one since. It consisted of alot of grapefruit. Kinda like this one!

hijacking..
i missed the thread.. but we make banana "icecream" all the time.. no need for silly contraptions. slice up banana, freeze, use immersion blender.. poof insta "icecream"

back on topic..
none for me.. past the "let's just not eat anymore" crazies.

it's not really a 'crazy' diet, but we try to eat off of the michi ladder. it works wonderfully! even on weeks that we aren't exercising we at least maintain our weight, if not drop. plus, we all have more energy and feel so much better!

Ugh, no really crazy diet for me, but I just cut out candy/chocolate/soda and will be dieting this fall. My jeans are getting tight!! O_o

We have banana "ice cream" all the time... We usually add lots of other goodies too... Our favorite is "chunky monkey" which is frozen bananas, peanut butter and chocolate chips... so yummy!!! Oh and we found a cake batter "ice cream" which was ok, but it's frozen bananas, and several extracts and sprinkles

Thanks, La. I have an immersion blender so will give it a whirl.

(too bad I don't have any bananas in the house...)

I don't really do any of those crazy diets. Not to say I don't diet...just not some of those that are super controversial.

My dh and I are doing Paleo right now.

I've only ever done Weight Watchers. I go at it strong for a few weeks/months and then fall off the wagon, then gain 5 lbs and give it a go again. Like right now. I'm just a fat kid at heart...and I love me some chocolate and anything cheesy and bread.

Nope, no diet for this girl; I eat what I want, when I want. My work-out keeps me as trim is I wanna be... Although, my dh does the low-card thing and it really works well for him. I'm just glad I don't have to do the low-carb thing... I couldn't live without my pasta and breads; no way, no how! :-)

Me and my training partner call ourselves "closet fat@sses". LOL We may or may not have walked a mile after day one of the bike ride (in the dark, and had to run back to avoid a thunderstorm) to get candy and a huge order of Rally's fries to split.

Nothing crazy, unless you count how much I have spent on programs like Jenny Craig or LA Weight Loss.

Eh. I've never dieted, well not in that way. Between having Bella and getting pregnant with Mason I lost almost 20 pounds thanks to my body going crazy during RA flare ups. So that was kind of effective.
Of course, I was constantly in pain, sick, and losing a lot of hair so I don't necessarily recommend it. :p
