I have found that since starting PL, I havn't really scrapped a real layout all year. I just did a couple for a contest but those are the only ones I've completed all year. I kinda miss it. Is anyone incorporating "regular" layouts in your PL?

I haven't scrapped a regular layout in over a year, maybe more. But I am okay with that. I don't really miss it.

My scrapping time is 90% devoted to PL now! I do miss it, but I love doing PL too. I'd love to have a couple extra hours in the day to do it all.. :)

I do still scrap regular layouts, but it's more for CTs I think. I tend to put more focus on the PL work.

I do! I'm still working on pages I haven't scrapped from years past, plus I have a newborn and I'm making her first year album. I've even made some 12x12 & some 8.5x11 layouts to go in my PL album.

For me the PL is like a little added bonus. The scrapping is my main focus. I have printed some of my layouts at 4x4 and put them on 6 inch square background with washi tape and used the 4 square BH plastics. I've also done a couple of 6x12 layouts and put them in my PL album this year.

See this is one reason I'm scared to do PL!! I think I'd miss my regular ol layouts too much, and I just don't have time to do it all. If I ever do PL, it is going to be digitally for sure, because I think that is probably a lot less time consuming. I go back and forth - I LOVE all the PL stuff you ladies show, but then I'm scared of it too.

totally... I still do... tho, I'm finding that my regular layouts are more AAM and scrap therapy layouts... I take sooooo many pictures during the week, so I only pick a few for PL and then scrap the rest :) I was worried I'd do less "regular" layouts and only do CT layouts... but I'm still going strong with "non-CT" layouts and am very happy... tho, I think that's why I get behind on PL sometimes LOL... but I only allow myself to get about 4 weeks behind MAX and then I devote a whole week to catch up... it helps that I still have a napper and I require the other kids to have their own personal quiet time during naptime so that I can get some work done :p

I'm like Stacy... PL is just an added bonus to my regular scrapping. I find that PL helps me tell the who/where/when, but sometimes I want to go more in depth and add my feelings about a certain event or photo so I'll do a layouts for stuff like that. I'm behind on PL though, but like Heather I don't let myself get more than four weeks behind.

I feel bad if I get more than a week behind, wondering if I'll catch up. This is what motivated me to stop scrapping chronologically, this worry about "caught up". I'm thinking this PL will be only a 2012 thing for me unless I stop thinking of it as a weekly project and only use it as a when I feel like it project.

Like this weekend, I did BYOC layouts and watched the Olympics instead of doing the PL. I'll have to get on that in the next couple of days or it'll stress me out.

This is part of the reason I stopped doing weekly PL at the end of June. I feel like all my creative time (3-5 hours per week) was sucked up by PL and I had no time to do anything else creative that I want to do. I do plan on continuing with my album though, and just scrap in whatever format I want, without any weekly pressure.

I scrap mostly P365 pages...but try to scrap a normal page now & then too, but not as much as I used to though. I do like both a lot and the fact I've kept up with P365 till today, is something I've been pretty proud at :D

I still scrap regularly (I spend more time scrapping than I do on PL) but having said that my scrapping has always been random, even when I paper scrapped, with no rhyme or reason to what I scrapped when.

This is how i envisioned my PL from the beginning so even though I fell behind I felt like I could start from now without pressure and if I get a chance I can go back and fill in the gaps without pressure of a weekly layout.

i still scrap regularly, but since i'm about 12 weeks behind on PL i'm not sure that's saying much. for me PL is just something I want to do, but i don't really feel any pressure to keep up with it. if i get to it i get to it. and mostly what i scrap is for CT stuff, but i've always used CT stuff to scrap pages i would want to do anyway, so it's all the same to me... i don't make a distinction between ct and 'me' scrapping... if i did, i wouldn't be able to enjoy my ct's.

I never really thought of PL as a weekly project, it wasn't my original intent when I started, it's just worked out that way... we do so much and I have so many pictures that it just turns out I do a weekly spread anyways... and then still have a ton leftover that I want to scrap so I use either ct stuff or extra stuff that aren't ct kits... so for me I guess I incorporated PL into what I already was doing... but I do think it helps that I'm doing it digital... I think if I did hybrid or paper, it'd take a ton more time for me and I probably wouldn't enjoy it anymore... December Daily's enough hybrid for me LOL

scrap? huh?

well, if i were still keeping up w/ my PL, i would not scrap other than that - those memories are really the ones i want to preserve.

I scrap regularly but I am wayyy behind on my project life. I want to keep it in a theme so I try to do those pages when I have patience and there's not too much going on around me, otherwise I'd get distracted. I think I have notes on my phone, email, the notepad on the computer and even recorded a couple of voice memos..so that is also driving me nuts..trying to keep up with it all.

I haven't been scrapping as much as I used to. But yes, it's mainly for CT. I have also done a few pages for challenges here and there. It motivates me to get pages done that I normally probably wouldn't have done otherwise.
